You have feed it with a wifi or bluetooth connection and have some content to play or radio to stream.
Not sure if the black model is eligible for £80 cashback.
these work brilliantly. I've got the all8, all3 and all5.
just link to your home Wi-Fi and you can play any music you have on computers, wireless hard drives or mobile phones, as long as they are linked to the same Wi-Fi connection.

Ive heated, I understand you get an extra year guarantee but the curry offer was better especially after I sell the adapter

You are quite right, no rhyme or reason for the better deal to go cold and the item sell out, the adaptor would have been a nice bonus for someone, but I really had no need for it. Cheers
Had 2 Panasonic All 3 units fail within a year. Good sound when they work though. Good price.
Does this mean it can speak in more than one room at once? Clever guy that John Lewis fella. It's good it's wireless, I'm told when John Lewis is wired you can't make out what he's saying.

If I have 2 in separate rooms, and feed one by BT or 3.5, will it output from the other one too?
Guys, Pardon my ignorance on this but can i link these to a panasonic TV to provide surround sound??
I got one of these in Currys today. Plugged it in and synced it into my wifi network tonight- very easy. The sound is really good for our lounge, which admittedly isn't the biggest. The app seems easy to use. So far I have only used music on my phone, but will endeavour to link up other online services this weekend. I was considering the Sonos Play 1, but at less than half the price, and with Bluetooth should I ever any it, I felt this was the better option for me. Plus the clock feature is nice, being that I have to turn my head to the left and up to see the clock in our lounge from the sofa - yeah, bad place to put it.

It can work as a surround sound system, but needs to be used with the Panasonic sound bar.

Sure can, all the available configuration options are available online.
How does this compare to the Sonos Play 1 sound wise?

It can link to the All3 Soundbase to do surround if you want it - not sure about using them on their own though. Curry's do the All3 soundbase, and you can buy two All2's and get £150 cashback.

That said, I was pretty disappointed with the All3 so I'm returning it. Still going to give the All2's a go.
Can this speaker stream music, via wifi, on its own from the internet or does another source have to connect to the streaming site and then pass it on to the speaker?
I thought it was a shredder definitely been hit with the ugly stick at birth
Many thanks to Staplar for posting this deal, i have ordered two for £198 and the £80 cashback can then be claimed on purchases made before 11th Jan but must be submitted to Panasonic by the 25th
So all in all 2 for £59 each. :-)

(Currys are showing the same deal but have no stock available)
Just bought one of these as I needed a speaker in the bedroom but couldn't justify the outlay on another Sonos component that will never be synced with the rest of the house. Its great as a cheap internet radio with a clock, alarm, sleep function and presets, that can also do Spotify connect, bluetooth and has an Aux-in. Couldn't find anything close to that functionality for the price. The hardware is nice, it sounds ok (Play:1 much better however) and it was easy to set up.

Would urge significant caution for anyone looking to use these as a proper multiroom setup however; The updated Panasonic app is just about serviceable; The Qualcomm apps are unfortunately truly appalling. The Qualcomm radio app is essentially useless on my Galaxy S5. Panasonic must be absolutely livid that Qualcomm are screwing over their whole system from the software side.

Overall, a nice clock/internet radio with Spotify connect. I'd run a million miles from a multiroom setup of these though, that's just asking for trouble; Stick to Sonos!

The currys deal included 2xall1 adapter X both of which you could have sold and was a way better deal.
ordered mine through Amazon once I had checked they are part of the promotion which they are. heated as it tempted me to buy something I probably didn't need. tempted to get the all3 with it for the £150 cash back but must resist.

JL are now showing 10 in stock as opposed to more than 10 in stock, so could be expiring soon.
I have a few questions about these speakers and would be grateful if anyone can answer:

can it be connected to an A/V unit (possible using the all1c or Bluetooth)
how is the speaker powered ?

I listened to this and the Sonos Play 1 side by side in Currys and was surprised that, as standalone units, this had a more rounded full sound compared to the flat tones of the Sonos. The reason I was so surprised was because the Sonos Play 3 blew both the Panasonic All 3 and All 8 out of the water sound wise.

If I had the funds available I would buy two x Sonos Play 3 but if on a budget I'd take the All 2 over the Play 1.
