Voted hot for new price, but as above managed to get a refurb from Panasonic outlet on Ebay for £40 using one of the offer codes a month or so ago. As for the speaker itself, it's basic but is a significant improvement on the TV speakers.
I got theSC-HTB208EBK 2.1 system from JL for £80 new. Its a vast improvement over the standard sound. Not sure what this is like without the wireless sub but with the sub its fantastic.

Top service from them as well
Wonder how this compares to the over hyped Sonos beam ..yes I own a beam !
I have a 1080p Toshiba Regza TV (about 8 years old) and an Nvidia Shiled

Would this soundbar work with the Shield and what would be the best way to connect it ?

Thanks in advance

Connects to tv with optical cable, HDMI lead or via Bluetooth If you can connect either of them to your tv I can't see why it wouldn't work.

Does it have any passive radiators or are they just full range drivers? I want something with a bit of low end but not boomy subwoofer level bass as it’s for a bedroom.
Please could some of the people who purchased this leave some feeback on this ?

I am tempted to hit the button but would love to hear from recent buyers

Also if there's anyway to mount it to a wall

If you click on the Get Deal button if will take you to the item on the Currys website. There are reviews on there. I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I think it is quite good, a heck of a lot better than the TV speakers anyway. Very easy to connect up, just a HDMI cable and mains lead. I have the soundbar on a shelf in the TV cabinet and it is very unobtrusive. If you fastened 2 small L brackets to the wall I am sure it would sit there quite happily.
