Are these any good , would they still be okay for 42" tvs?

No, they're generally crap....It's just that built in t.v. speakers are crapper.

They'd work for any TV, but would be smaller in width than your 42" TV. Not a bad power rating of 80W either.

A person who's scared and knew no good recommendation. Try LG, Sony, Samsung, Philips..use search engine with search words soundbar, brand plus review and you will find many 4 star and 5 star ratings reviewed ones. Personally I use an excellent LG Soundbar NB3730A.

I don't really understand why people use these soundbars..... I just connect the TV up to my hi fi system, it gives a better sound than these soundbars, plus you have CD player, DAB radio and can plug your mp3 player in them.
Even a cheap micro system wouldn't be much more than this soundbar.

Some people don't have room for or want a hifi near their TV though - I certainly don't. Although soundbars don't sound as good as hi-fi's (unless you pay mega money) they don't take up much room. They are really handy for bedrooms and living rooms.

Just see the deal for what it is - a branded bluetooth enabled soundbar for a cheap price.

I have a Teac system, the same size as the Denon and Onkyo equivalents that are often as deals on here. Its so compact it just sits on one of the shelves of my TV stand along with Bluray player and PVR. Speakers are just mounted on the corners of the wall behind.

Piaxmania. Why bother?

This is back to £39.99 on pixmania now, plus £6.90 delivery. Just saying. I ordered one earlier.

I have a 37"panasonic i was told its better to get the same make in a soundbar as the tv.is this true as i was looking at buying a sony soundbar.

not bad, but cheaper few weeks ago
