With an incredible 2400 W of power, rigid speaker cones and added corrugation, you're able to crank up the volume completely free from crackling and distortion. Dazzle your guests

The only thing that makes a party better than great audio is a great light show to match. With MAX Dance Illumination, each of the Panasonic SC-MAX3500EK's units come to life with dazzling flashing lights, taking the party up a notch. Choose music sync to make the lights flash in time to the beat of your tunes and raise the mood of the party.

Blimy 2.4 kilowatts. 😁

That's sure going to use a lot of power (like running a kettle. 😁

I hope that is just some silly peak power.

2400W, enough to make your house an open air house.

Amazingly it only consumes 230 watts max at the mains plug
These max power figures include 30% total harmonic distortion! - pretty much meaningless sales BS - I'm sure these max output figures are based on a single frequency that was able to briefly acheive that amount of output power, just before the speaker exploded.

I suspect in real terms this gives about 100watts combined output

I really wish the decent brands would stick to making what they were once experts at, quality, low gimmick hifi.

that thing wll just sound awful
This seems to be the RRP, same price elsewhere, so not really a deal, and i agree that this will most likely sound rubbish.

Tbh I worked in electronics store in the 90s and Panasonic made similar claims then. And had similarly ugly kit alongside their more ordinary looking ones.
