I wish i could get this without the dvd player. I already have a blu ray player downstairs.

How does this compare to the Samsung SW A400, anyony know? Been looking at both of them, can't decide!

Get the panasonic I've got one and it's miles better than the samsung I had nothing but trouble with the samsung paid out 300 quid only lasted a year and had to be repaired 4 times panasonics been spot on got the one with the iPod dock can't recomend it enough!

No you can't. There are no digital inputs, so you can't get surround sound from sky as they use the optical out

Also, it doesn't mention HDMI inputs either, so you would still need a lead from each to your TV

Quite a limited bit of kit really, if the info on the Currys website is to be believed

Look good. I'm still waiting for the one with wireless rear speakers

this is mine hdmi and ipod dock and optical out well worth the bit extra amazon.co.uk/exe…OLE

been spot on since i bought it

Does this charge 2nd generation Ipod touch?

Can this play DTS audio from MKV's from an external source such as the WDTV player?
If not this one then does anyone know of a panasonic system that does?
I would be very interested to know this as at the moment I am having to convert DTS to AC3. I have a panasonic TV and a LG home cinema but would buy a panasonic home cinema if it could handle the DTS form external sources. I could also get rid of a remote as I could use the same remote for TV and home cinema.
If anyone knows this please let me know.
