Bought the Panasonic SC-BD200 Blu-ray Home cinema system from PC World when they were clearing them out for only £190. Hence, relatively this being just a DVD player this is not a hot deal, maybe luke warm at best...

The only thing I hate about Panasonic is their lack of support for H.264 encoded mkv files. None of their current Home cinema systems support it whereas most of the competition (Sony, LG, Samsung) do. Hence, I'm having to play all my HD stuff through an LG BD370 (£40 from currys).

Shame manufacturers are not forced by anti-competitive laws to make features like Panasonic's 'Viera Link' and the equivalent from other manufacturers interoperable. That way if you buy a Sony TV, you wouldn't have to buy their blu-ray player etc.. to get the universal remote control features to work.
