You may want to check reviews and previous posts on here, I've used one too and it's a surprisingly powerful setup for the dirt cheap price. It's not amazing but you're getting more than you pay for for a change.

Maybe it does sound "powerful", but it is not 300W RMS, once again Argos are breaking the law.

I can remember when Panasonic was a decent Hifi brand, and gave proper specs for their equipment; but that WAS last century.

If you follow the formula I have posted before, the real usable power output is about the 3-5 W RMS range; it will sound ok with the supplied speakers, but dont expect to be able to upgrade those speakers to anything decent and get anywhere near the same volume - those will be 2-4 ohm car speaker units inside, and not 6-8 ohm hifi speakers; not unless you have a pair designed to work with old valve amps.
