I just picked up the model below (SD-2500) this weekend at a car boot for £6, (apparently the same minus the nut dispenser), and the bread it makes is fantastic. I've had a cheaper model before, but gave it away as the bread was stodgy and poor. Even gluten free loaves are pretty good, making another one today. Heat for the price, these are normally £100+.

The 2500 is only £59.99 from Panasonic refurbished outlet on ebay m.ebay.co.uk/itm…114

There does seem to be a £20 step between each model currently available. I've had my eye on a £100 SD-2502 but now I've seen this one I'm torn between 'em

I honestly would go for 2500 at that price. All the 2501 has over the 2500, is dispensing nuts. Now you can pay £20 for that, but I'd rather not.

I've had my eye on a £100 SD-2502

Cracking piece of Kit....makes the best bread and Pizza bases... responds well to the odd tweak of the recipes
Like using honey (use small amount so as not to overpower the taste) instead of sugar...outside browns better and more sponger center
Love mine...though my waist line is expanding

The 2502 chucks the yeast in automatically I think over the 2501 where you put it in manually. What does concern me is the amount of dinted stainless steel clad 2502s on eBay: the 2501 would stand a bit more hammer I think.

Thank you just bought one

Amazing how fast the novelty wears off. We used to make "fresh bread" everyday when we first got ours... now it gets used once a fortnight, if I remember to set it up the night before

The SD-201 has also a setting for Rye Bread, and the dispenser for nuts is good if you don't want to stay around waiting to put raisins, nuts etc

Hot price, bought one. Thanks!

I have one of these and it's brilliant. Takes a couple of minutes to add ingredients and the machine does the rest! I can't eat shop bought bread anymore as it tastes soggy and tasteless in comparison to a homemade 70%wholemeal/30% white loaf that I make in my Panasonic

Excellent price. Had mine for 9 months (paid over £100) and every loaf I've made in it has been very tasty.

Last one listed! Hurry if you want it.

All gone!

Thanks I bought one last night and was delivered today. Had loved my 257 for 7 yeas before it failed. Will see if this 2501 is better or not

I know, right! I never pay much for electrical items at car boots as I'm expecting them not to work. Was really surprised when I got it home and it produced an awesome loaf of bread.
