About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Cheapest I have seen this model. I have the one that is virtually identical but has the yeast dispenser (which isn't a big deal as you can put the yeast in at the very beginning with the rest of the ingredients).
Makes a fantastic loaf, far better than an older Morphy Richards one we had.
Obviously only buy it if you know you'll use it often, we make a fresh loaf at least once a week since buying ours.

If you buy the ingredients in bulk it's cheaper than buying loaves from the shops, even when accounting for electricity usage. Not to mention the bread is far tastier (and toasted it's fantastic!).

  • 30 Automatic Programmes - Packed with a selection of pre-set programs there are endless options for a variety of different loaves from White, to Wholemeal, Gluten Free and so much more.

Btw, not sure it’s a great deal for the new one. You can buy the white version from Panasonic for £99.99 and the black version is this price at John Lewis too.

I did calculate how much it costs to make a medium half-half loaf, including electrify and it was as about 65p so really good value.

Edit: Just found my calculations (this was before the latest price rise so probably about 70p now)

    Rapid Wholemeal
    9p Elec
    8p Yeast
    14.6p White flour
    26.8p Wholemeal flour
    2p Butter
    1p Sugar
    3p Salt
    0 Water
    64 pence total (edited)
The White one at John Lewis doesn't have the nut dispenser.

The yeast dispenser is a must if you want to make bread overnight
This doesn’t have the yeast dispenser I don’t think? Also you don’t need that anyway, you can still make it without that. Actually I have the dispenser and find it annoying. Too loud as it clatters the yeast out. Always wakes me up!!

Warehouse ones have 20% too. I picked one up for £68, hopefully it's in ok condition.
Yeah, I was going to mention it in a reply myself but you beat me to it, lol.
One 'like new' left, someone needs to grab that bargain.

Please be aware that NO make or model of breadmaker makes basic Sandwich bread. The bread they make is traditional!
Sorry it’s not obvious to me, what exactly is the difference?

If anyone needs a bread knife, get this -

Not exactly cheap, but is fantastic. Goes through any bread with ease, and less crumbs everywhere compared to other bread knives. Best bread knife I've ever owned.
Can use it for plenty of other things too.

We also use this bread improver. Makes loaves bigger and softer and helps it stay fresh longer -

    Yep, has been mentioned already.
I submitted a price match with Amazon, hopefully they reduce it to £99.99 too.
