Panasonic SD-ZB2512 Breadmaker. Latest Top model £106 delivered from Amazon Italy

Found 14th Oct 2015
Found this on Amazon Italy. Its the latest top model of the Panasonic line of breadmakers. The cheapest I could see in UK was John Lewis for 189 pounds. This is a great price for it.

Not to be confused with last years 2502, this one has new menus to make sourdough, artisan rustic breads and scones

Price now has gone down to 106 delivered

This was 60 odd quid iirc on Amazon UK not long ago.
So no deal!
We have this machine which replaced a 2502 and it produces fantastic bread. Not tried the sourdough recipes yet. Note that the power cable is hardwired to the machine so you'll likely need a euro to uk converter for the plug

The price dropped to £69.99 on ONE day in early February.
It was just over £90 for around a week in June. It has been
more than £130 for a great deal of time. This price of £115 is
very good so of course it is a deal. Don't be so tight and nit-picky.
Hot, and thanks for the post.

When a product has previously sold at £60 - £90 you cannot call £115 a "hot" deal, regardless of the previous lengths of time this was being offered at a lower price.
You say I'm being tight and nit-picky however this is HUKD, people come on here in an attempt to try and save money, so unless someone is urgent for a bread maker I personally would stick it on my wish list and wait for another price drop/deal that will likely happen.
Sorry £69.99* !!
Keep watching folks, you might spot
it down to £69.99 any day now.

Yes and no - if it's the cheapest price available at the time, it's arguably a deal. Just because it's been cheaper before doesn't mean it'll happen again, and if you need / want it soon then waiting an undetermined length of time for a price drop that might not happen isn't really an option.

You've just clarified my point though... need against want, if it's a want then there's no harm in waiting.... especially as Amazon's prices fluctuate all the time. And let's face it, a bread maker will be a want over a need for the majority of people.
At the end of the day, different people try and save in different ways.
Simply put, it comes down to each persons saving mentality. You wouldn't catch me paying £100+ for a bread maker.

Thanks for the post. How does the warranty work with them? Also, do you know a descent, cheap UK to euro plug convertor?
Emailed Panasonic & they won't honour the warranty in the UK, they say if there was a problem you'd have to send it back to retailer or Panasonic in Italy and you'd have to use an adaptor as changing the sealed plug would invalidate the warranty seems EU no good for warranties

Thank you for that info. I actually bought this model today from John Lewis for £139.99. Considerably more, however I won't have the warranty issue. That is quite disappointing that they wouldn't honour the warranty in the UK...

For anyone wondering there is the 2511 which is the same except it doesn't have the auto yeast dispenser that the 2512 does. In John Lewis it was £10 cheaper, however it seems the difference is more at other retailers.

Hi me too, I tried to post the deal on here but it didn't go through, 2 years warranty from John Lewis and there a couple of free gifts for 2511 & 2522 purchases from JL valid until 1st Jan, you'll need a photo of your receipt & barcode from the box, claim online here promotions.panasonic.co.uk/pro…s/2
AHHH the box has been put in the bin!! I will still try though, thanks for the info.

Try sending photo of Breadmaker with receipt in view it worked for another offer where I'd destroyed box, I received my Le Creuset butter dish & recipe book today - very nice free gifts
If I purchase the SD-ZB2512 from Amazon Italy will it come with the instruction book in English or Italian and what type of plug will it have?
Anyone know if the machine has Italian or english printing on it?
Not so good after all, with 10 added for delivery, over 130gbp.
I already owned the Sd-Zb2502 and now have purchased the SD-ZB2512 to be honest other than £70 price difference there is no difference and I can make all recipes in both.
