I used to think it a bit weird when product info for camera forgets to put what the actual resolution is. My take is if the blurb has lots of information about the camera but omits the resolution that almost always means it’s because it’s not good news. Probably yesteryears level

Would it work as a temperature sensor for smartthings?

Good price but you need the Panasonic hub (KX-HNB600) to use this so no good on its own. The system and app is a bit outdated compared to other products on the market as well so this is a pretty niche purchase.

They both take the shine off it.

Sadly, yes. It’s a good and secure system, we have one but the camera quality isn’t amazing by today’s standards, we use it more for the door sensors and other smart connectivity. The app still doesn’t support the newer iOS formats so renders with black bars on the iPhone X, etc! If you have this system already then this is a good price for the camera but it only supports 4 cameras max too.

Is Bamboozle still a thing???? I used to love it
KewlGuy17/07/2019 23:48

Unfortunately not! Ceefax/Teletext died in 2012.

I remember when I was growing up I was quite adamant that Mum and Dad buy a TV that supported teletext as it was essential - being able to enter 888 and get live subtitles was amazing.

I need to buy an old iPhone. Rubbish modern tech can’t even run Bamboozle. Pah.
