Was about to post this looks a good deal, have been looking at getting a new TV think this might be the one I'll go for. Have ordered a TV from iBOOD in the past so can vouch for their security. Just be aware there is a delay in delivery so if you're desperate for it in 3 days then steer clear.

Panasonic FTW!

And tcb, anyone got this TV?

Average reviews, but excellent for the price. Voted hot.

avforums.com/rev…436

A decent review on there, seemed like there was an issue with the 640B model and 50hz artefacting, however the reviewer then say they tested the 640E model (this deal) and had no issues which is positive.

Only thing I'm a bit worried about is gaming performance (between 52-57ms response time). Any TV experts out there that could let me know if this is going to be unplayable would be really appreciated.

Is this a UK model, ie will it have HD freeview?
Does anyone k ow who the warranty would be with?
Thanks

If it had built in wifi and free view hd I would have bought it!!

I've been looking at review of this site, it seem they are extremely bad with their customer services and delays in delivery. I am waiting for them to reply me by email about VAT, and custom charges/admin fee for shipment, because people in the forums informed users that the company ships the products to UK are from NL.

Need to know if this has freeview HD if so its an order.

anyone know?

The netherlands are part of the eu therefore any vat would have already been paid for the item in the exporting country.

Also you dont pay vat and duty on importation from one eu state to another, there are of course exceptions with things like cigarettes etc.

In conclusion what you see in their price is what you pay

No VAT or customs charges on purchases from within the EU..

Good deal but yeah wouldn't trust iBOOD.

Very interesting deal.

I think its very similar to the 640B, which you can go and have a look at curry's - incase you want to have a look at before buying. I posted a deal about it when it was at 699, some people discussed the 1200Hz in the thread (spoiler: it's not exactly what it says on the tin).

Yea i am tempted to go for this deal. But its just ibood i am worried about now they are quite a bad customer service, as i seen tons of comments chasing up their orders there

think theres a few in the same boat, I want to order, but unsure on using ibood

1200Hz is BS. What's the real refresh rate? 50 or 100Hz?

I ordered a Samsung TV from them a few months ago, it arrived before indicated date. very happy customer!

Great deal, shame I'm not looking for a TV at the moment

Who will the warranty be with? ie will Panasonic UK cover it

100 I think, input lag is 59ms as well

Sony is the tv of choice now

Not speaking about the TV, but just wanting to add a data point for iBOOD.

Bought the 55HU6900 deal through them a couple months back. Came when they said. Decided I didn't want to keep it, so send it back un-opened. Refund was processed quickly.

YMMV

I've ordered a Samsung Smart TV from them before with no issues. I've also ordered some headphones which arrived earlier than anticipated.

Taken the plunge with this - think it will be worth it given it's 600-700 elsewhere.

Thanks!

Also try promotions.panasonic.co.uk you could get upto £500 cashback on certain models, also 5 years Panasonic Warranty. I have the TX-47AS650B which is very similar specs and I love the TV.

Great deal, shame I'm not looking for a TV at the moment

I am pity i pulled out my tv money for new clutch over the weekend £700 ouch !!!!!!!!!!!

Ive emailed them last night about the VAT/surcharges and shipment. They confirmed me just now that all prices is including VAT/ shipment, and no customs since its shipped within the EU Holland. As i was alittle shaky about the shipment delays from the comments that was listed in the reviews, so i email them about this issue and they confirm that they may not be any delays since the stocks are in the warehouse ready to be dispatched. They compromise me that i will get the tracking from either TNT or UPS once the product is delivered to them. so yea, lets hope they really do mean it. have anyone purchased one yet? I just did cant wait to play mario kart 8 with this bad boy!

Ive just pulled the trigger. Fingers crossed

Quoted from someone on ibood.
"Hi, I put an order in for this TV but have now cancelled it. I spoke to Panasonic customer services this morning to ask if this TV would work OK in the UK and they couldn’t guarantee that it would. They said that their TVs may only tune to a certain range of frequencies depending on the country or countries they were originally intended for. They confirmed that the only real way to confirm compatibility without knowing the TVs origin was to purchase a TV from a supplier in your own country designed for use in your own country."

This put with the fact ibood has bad customer service puts me off but it is a fantastic price if you want to take a risk.
