not all about size mate

Not as good a deal as I originally posted as an addition to Panny DMPBD35EBK Blu Ray Player, as I initially omitted the dreaded vat.
Like you, I thought a price of 160.99 for the player was good, but it's heading for the permafrost!

Back in stock at JL may be able to price match; only 4 though so be quick.

do they post their offers anywhere like in a weekly online flyer :?

No one called you a liar.
I expect you are just mistaken, and that the tv you purchased was the non full-hd pX, not the full hd pz. This is a very good price for the 46 inch full hd panasonic.

ianrobertson01;4053394

No I did not accuse you of lying, I just find it hard to believe J.L would sell a T.V of this spec at that price!
Also to vote this deal cold is just silly.
Can you find this t.v. on sale for a better price with 5yr warranty? If so please post a link.

I think I know my own television darling and what the spec is.

Probably the Samsung 50A457 720p

can't believe people keep voting this cold - this is £500 more expensive in John Lewis right now...

"Darling"? Wow, how rude. :?

I said this perfectly politely before, and don't think I deserved such a rude response, so I don't think I'll bother to put it so nicely this time; there is not a snowball's chance in hell that you got the th50pz80b panasonic plasma for £649, so maybe you should check the details on the box before you go voting a good deal cold. The fact that the th50pz80b was recently posted for around £860 and has reached 354 degrees should give you a clue that £649 is an impossibly low price for that spec tv. But, hey, maybe you found the deal of the century that no one else spotted?

Sorry to beg, but I don’t suppose anyone with a Costco card round the Birmingham, Chester or Manchester area fancies taking a shopping trip with me so that I can get one of these? I was screwed out of the JL deal by them as they made a mistake with my order and will not let me re-order it for £799 but they said that I can have it for £1270 instead.

No one called you a liar, but i suspect from post 7(your post) on this thread,
hotukdeals.com/ite…114
that this (the pz80b) is not the model of tv that you have!!!

Anyone seen these in store?

I was in Watford branch yesterday and they did not have this one in. Can anyone confirm if they are in any of their stores yet?

I don't want to miss out, after missing the the Selfridges deal.

So glad I didn't buy the px42 at £563

voted hot , got mine delivered yesterday from the john lewis deal , awesome tv

It is true I got the voucher book in the post this morning.

Rest our case, did not think J.L would sell this tv for 1/2 price.
Now ianrobertson01 has been banned ;-), why can't guy's just be honest?

I live in Birmingham (and have the Costco Card), so I might be able to.

Costco generally get a delivery of these before the deal starts - and they may sell out, but their stocks are generally quite good as far as I am aware.

I wish my room could take this size screen.

I got the 37LZD85 from Costco for much the same price recently and could take it back under their 90 day satisfaction guarantee.

If it's as good as my set, which it will be, then it's a steal.

If you could it would be really appreciated. I live just the other side of Shrewsbury to Birmingham so it would only take me about an hour or so to get there.

Does anyone know if the vouchers are available in store or only through the post. Also if anyone has a voucher that they do not need I would also be very greatfull.

I have the voucher, received it in the post a couple of days ago - we're all set on that front, just have to wait till the 2nd of Feb before we can use them. It's probably worth calling them to reserve one on the day we go.

I was even tempted to send back my current TV (LG 32" LCD) and get one of these, it's just a little too large for my room ;-) It would be so nice though...

i thought ours would be too large for our room, as we were initially gonna go for the 42", but seeing as the 46" worked out cheaper we went for it, and i'm glad we did. Our room is 12ft by 11.5ft

i am seriously considering joining Costco, just to buy this tv.My brother is a member and I could go with him, but wonder if it would be better being a member if any problems arise with tv?

Also I currently have a 42" panny on wall and have just measured, and am sitting 14' away from screen and am wondering if i should buy this, or the 50" one from bennets online

You will be paying for the TV so the contract is with you and Costco, it doesn't matter who has the membership card, they really don't care once the transaction has taken place. Some of the Costco's only let the members pay, or if not then you have to pay by Cash.... but the Birmingham one I go to don't care :-)

In such pressing financial times I think anyone who has £800 to spend on a telly is very lucky!

So because you got a completely different model of TV in a completely different deal, despite the fact that it is no longer available anymore and there are very few other deals of direct comparisson to this around, you still vote cold? My god, some people.

I also like how you have conveniently vanished from the thread aswell after someone provided proof that you were talking a load of **** about what your TV model was .

Voted Hot! If this had been around last year I might have plonked for this instead of the Sammy series 6 plasma I ended up with (although I am more than happy with it) :).
