Although it's not mentioned on Ebuyer I think these are going to turn out to be refurbs.

I have one, and they are a good box. The 2 scarts are so close together though you cant use them both at the same time with normal scart connectors. you would have to use streight connectors, not the common right angle ones.

YEP!! these are refurbs, it's just pot luck if you get a good boxed one or not?
If buying for a present! all have been tested so i was told and do still come with a 1 year warranty.

Thanks for the info.

While not in the market for one of these, sometime ago I bought some LG DVD writer refurbs from Ebuyer which looked like new. These were not retail so no boxes.

Did you ask if they'd put that info on their website. If I bought one and it was graded I'd buy new elsewhere and they'd be given 30 days to collect it or replace with new. Makes you think what else may be graded and sold as new, totally illegal. I use ebuyer a lot, and have done for many year like many I sent letters to Trading Standards in Sheffield which got them investigated and since then they've become far more honest and friendly with the general public, back then they were a total nightmare. I still use them as the prices are great, and never use the rma and have no problems with them. But I do hate shops that sell graded stock, you never know if they are shipping new or not then, thats more potluck that anything :-)

Nice freeview box though, I'm after one with hdmi though :-)
