Three hundred and thirty six pounds and they can't lose the £2 p&p

It's a very good deal but doesn't that just take the icing off the cake?

Hot still

Good price, although I'm pleased with the £395 i paid for the 500gb version with dish installation from QVC.

Can wait fo these bad boys to start dropping in price.

Great kit but I am not paying that bloody price lol.

The main one being it records bluray which means yes, there is a rather big diff.

That one you found it still nice though, but for the extra it's def worth going for the BR recording feature.

These recorders get poor reviews.
Best to get the half price Sky HD offer, as you get more channels and still cheaper than this, and in a years time the new models will be this price.

just realised it wasn't BR ... very tempting deal it makes it then too. am thinking it over very deeply.

was posted at slightly lower price last week....

For the price it seems to be lacking some basic funtionality; e.g. it can't rewind live TV (i.e when you decide you'd like to rewind a watch again or rewind and start recording); also it has a 'skip forward' function for the adverts; but no 'skip back' for when you go too far; slow response to controls also seems to mentioned too often in reviews.
The biggest downside for me is £300+ is a lot to pay at this stage for Freesat which is possibly going nowhere - from what I've read C4HD and C5HD etc. will most likely not be available on Freesat. I may be wrong but it's put me off upgrading my old Pioneer until things are more certain. :?
[Edit: But it's possibly that uncertainty that is driving the price down and giving bargains like this ;-)]

£333 + £6.72 shipping = £339.72

The link goes to a "Sold by Lets go digital" page. Isn't that like marketplace and thus not allowed?

I'm only saying that because I'm sulking about missing out on decent recorder/freesat deals. Heheh!
