Yes it's a A Vestel made Panasonic for anyone wondering.....

If buying in store, you can check if it's a Vestel one by looking on the box in store - it will say made in Turkey or 'assembled in Turkey'. Must admit I was disappointed that Panasonic were using Vestel screens. I guess they felt it was the only way to compete at the lower end of the market. All the supermarket brand tv's seem to be Vestel, and I understand so are all Hitachi, and some cheaper Toshiba, and Jvc.

We have two older Panasonic tv's but I will probably look elsewhere when we replace them.

Any Panasonic model ending in '00' is a badged Vestel.

Not convinced it's as simple as that; the 400 series is Czech-assembled & (presumably) true Panny, but let's not bog down the thread with irrelevances. The OP item being a "rebadged low-end supermarket TV" observation has been made.
