Is this a vestel ?

No. 5XX and 6XX series are Vestel. 7XX is genuine Panny. Please feel free to double check but this is what I remember from a few months ago.

Got Panasonic before and I will never buy one again. Awful OS without support after couple of months and then couple of dead pixels...nightmare

This is right. 700 series are genuine Panasonic.

It is the 2018 model though and an IPS set, the 2019 model is the TX-50GX700B with a VA panel.

This model has better viewing angles, the newer model has better contrast.

Both have HDR10+ and peak brightness of 420 cd/m2 but HDR will look better on the newer model because of the better contrast/ blacks.

I was looking at the Argos ebay shop last year and they had "new" stock of my 2016 Samsung TV and they were charging top dollar for it as well!

Must have lost them at the back of a warehouse or something.

Years ago, I said the same about a Samsung TV I'd bought, but I decided to try another and I love it.

Do you happen to know what model Panasonic you had? If you ordered online it'll be on the email confirmation

It was TX-50EX700B
The 700 ones they're not their cheapest Vestel models but they're also not made in the same factory as the more expensive Panasonics either and their firmware is a bit different too I think.

Sort of an inbetweener TV.
