Panasonic’s GZ950 OLED TV is compatible with multiple HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, for cinematic visuals as the original director intended, powered by the HCX PRO Intelligent Processor. Dolby Atmos sound places you at the heart of the action, and its customisable Smart Platform brings you a wealth of online apps, including streaming services Netflix and Amazon Prime Video in 4K.*

OLED Screen
The Organic LED display doesn't have a backlight, meaning that each pixel is self-illuminating. Every speck of light controls its own luminescence for true depth and colour gradation. You experience blacker blacks, whiter whites, and a more lustrous display. With 8 million of these pixels, Panasonic's OLED screen delivers outstanding clarity of colour, contrast and brightness, within a blur-free image that looks just as stunning from any angle.

HDR with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision
HDR deepens your view and shows shades previously unseen in home entertainment. Expanding light, dark and every colour in between to extraordinary new levels, this model's picture gets closer to real life. This TV supports all HDR formats including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision so you'll always get the full HDR treatment.

4K Ultra High Definition
This 55” screen has four times the number of pixels than 1080p Full HD TVs, delivering stunning realism, natural motion and incredible detail.

Features:

HCX PRO Intelligent Processor: Panasonic’s most powerful processor guarantees stunning picture accuracy. Tuned by a Hollywood colourist it ensures contrast and colour authentic to real life to do true justice to the film-makers’ vision.

Dolby Atmos Sound: get more immersed in your entertainment’s audio with the cinematic, three-dimensional sound placement of Dolby Atmos.

Sport & Game Modes: specially tailored viewing modes to immerse you in the drama of the sporting spectacle, and to deliver a super-responsive gaming experience.

THX Certified 4K Display: this TV has been independently awarded THX certification by George Lucas' company for its high standard of cinematic home viewing.

Intuitive Smart Platform
‘my Home Screen 4.0’ provides quick and intuitive access to the content you want, with a huge variety of apps on a customisable home screen. Regular updates keep it up-to-date with the latest technology and content developments. Cloud services let you use fully-fledged, large-data games and a wealth of content services, so you can quickly switch over from watching TV to playing games. And it's compatible with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Youtube, who offer streaming services in 4K*.

Works with your Smart Assistant
This Panasonic TV works with Google Assistant and Alexa devices, so you can change channel, adjust volume, and more, with just your voice, using compatible smart speakers.

Freeview Play
This Panasonic TV features Freeview Play. Combining catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television, watching what you want, when you want, is now easier than ever. It’s free from subscription and is compatible with existing broadband services too. Services such as BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and My5 are also available without having to open specific applications. This gives effortless scroll back so you never miss a second of your favourite shows.

Elegant design
With a thin OLED panel and slim bezel, the TV's sleek and elegant design is as stylish as its picture.

Its slightly better by all accounts but dont take my word for it, google it.

The only tv better than this is the Panasonic GZ2000 and thats considerably pricier and only a tiny bit better.

Im happy with my 2 year old Panasonic OLED but if I was buying one right now Id buy this no question.

Miles better.
Same panel better processing plus all HDR formats for less money
I have this TV. The picture is so natural. Never seen anything like it. I have a really bright lounge and this TV works fantastically well in this environment. HDR is fab!
Excellent TV... I got mine on the Black Friday / Cyber Monday weekend for £1,095 which I think is the cheapest it’s been.

It’s sitting in front of a large bay window so lots of natural light coming into the room behind it. But you still makes for brilliant viewing

I got it from RGB Direct but just remembered some people were getting RS to price match that and get the additional £20/£25 off or whatever it is that RS does.

So effectively people were paying about £1,069 from this retailer
