Reckon RS will price match?

Reckon RS will price match?

Possibly, not sure what richer sounds policy is but my local Curry's would've price matched a Costco deal back in the summer if I could show them a price online, which I couldn't as it was an in-store deal and not shown on the website.
Great tv
if only they would drop the 65"
Richer sounds will only price match if you can send them proof of your Costco account and a screen shot of the product on the Costco site. The link does not take you to the product and I cannot find it onsite?
Keep going down!
Please provide a link to the product you say is £1079.98 as I cannot see it anywhere on the site.

Scub that just seen it's in warehouse only

Yeh it's a warehouse deal. Not sure if it can be ordered over the phone or online, the mods added "delivered" to the title. Could be used as a bargaining chip to get another supplier to price match.
Bought this few days ago for £60 more. Costco doesn’t refund the difference. You have to return and re-purchase. Would it work if I do the other way round? I mean, re-purchase and return with old receipt? Basically, does Costco change barcode when they change price?
Yes, warehouse only deal - says in the Costco marketing email I received. So not on the main website.

Spoke to RS and they won't price match. They spoke to my nearest Costco (Southampton) and they have none in stock so no deal to be made.

It was worth a try. What about Curry's or John Lewis?

Not tried them. JL might be worth a shout since they prefer it being physical stores; Currys locally to me rarely price match.
Anybody got the price for the 65in if they stock it?
robti27/12/2019 11:56

If only they would do the Panasonic GZ in 65". I've not seen it in any Costco's, or online. LG's, Phillips and Sony, not Panasonic..

Edit:

I stand corrected, New in.

Great price then.. not sure if LG B9 or this one now. I like LG, the magic remote. Do you know if Panasonic have something similar?

The LG uses webOS whereas Panasonic use Firefox OS. Firefox OS is lacking if I am honest. They key apps are there such as Netflix, Prime Video and the catchup services but the rest of the App Store is subpar in my opinion. Nothing that a fire tv or roku stick can’t fix

That being said, I prefer Panasonic’s out of the box picture accuracy. Ymmv

This is a slightly different version - GZ1000 (the stand is different) the 55" version of this has not been reduced and appears to only be available online. Hopefully they will include in warehouses soon so there there may be a chance that the price will really come down on the 65"
I bought this on 13th Dec at John Lewis for £1290. They said they would price match within a month of purchase. Would this count?

Ask them.

JL said no to price matching Costco as it is a membership only warehouse.
Torn between this Panasonic or the LG C9. Is it worth the extra money for the C9?

What is it you want from the TV? The C9 has a better remote, interface and full HDMI2.1 while the Panasonic supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, has partial 2.1 support and more realistic colouration.
In terms of image quality there's not a lot in it so I'd suggest going to a store.

I chose the Pana due to the support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+.

Thanks very much for your reply. I think I will be off to Costco tomorrow to buy the Panasonic tomorrow

The C9 has Dolby Vision support but not HDR10+
By the way if anyone is interested the Birmingham branch has quite a few. They almost sold out but must have had some more in the back which they bought out
Absolute bargain for the price. Its picture quality apparently is slightly better then the C9
Bought today from Richer Sounds.
They price matched for me. Absolutely amazing TV. Picture is draw dropping. Really researched the Panasonic & C9 & really thought hard about which one to buy? Glad I picked the Panasonic. The wife & I are over the moon

I'm still deciding between the 65in variant of this and the C9! The picture on the 55in version we just saw in Costco was fantastic. It's just the lack of full HDMI 2.1 support, and the pretty dire Android system that's swaying me towards the C9.

I read all the reviews. Web OS can be sorted with a fire stick or roku stick. We just thought the Panasonic had a slightly better picture. All the best on your decision
Got this yesterday from Richer Sounds, who price matched Costco (and beat by £20). Absolutely love it and a fantastic upgrade from our Samsung LCD 4K. Thanks, OP

Can I ask... What price did you end up paying for the TV via RS? Thanks, desperate for the Panasonic, and trying to secure best price available. Am too a costco member, but prefer a 6 Yr Rs warranty. Thanks again in advance
