Using Hollywood knowhow to make the most of its OLED screen, the Panasonic TX-55GZ950B delivers the truest picture quality.

OLED for maximum contrast
Using individual Organic Light-Emitting Diodes, OLED screens don’t require a backlight like conventional LED TVs do. This means you get more consistent and accurate colour, right across the screen. It also delivers blacks so deep that the contrast is near limitless. For the truest colour possible, OLED is the brightest and best.

OLED enhanced by Panasonic’s HCX Pro Intelligent Sensor
Using the Pro version of Panasonic’s HCX (Hollywood Cinema eXperience) chip, the TX-55GZ950B packs powerful processing for an even better picture. Tuned by leading Hollywood colourist, Stefan Sonnenfeld, this Panasonic 55 inch TV delivers total picture accuracy and remains true to the director’s vision.

Maximises HDR – including HDR10+
For the highest quality picture, HDR10+ offers scene-by-scene HDR mastering for the truest, most accurate HDR picture technology to date. With HDR10+ each scene is optimised, meaning the maximum amount of detail is shown – even in the brightest or darkest moments. The TX55GZ950B also supports standard HDR10 and HLG formats. HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma HDR) is a broadcast and user generated standard format that is set to become the standard for transmitting 4K signals.

Dolby Vision for dramatic imaging
As well as supporting HDR10+, the TX55GZ950B is also compatible with Dolby Vision - a leading format in Hollywood and cinemas around the world. Dolby Vision also adjusts the picture to take full advantage of each display's characteristics and presents an optimized picture for each scene in specially mastered content.

I would say QLEDs are only better if you want high brightness and zero risk of screen burn. If you watch a lot of sports and have a bright room go for a QLED or LED.
Otherwise OLED is the king and the Panasonic OLEDs are probably the best out there for outright picture accuracy and quality. Unless you are a big gamer then go for the LG B9/C9.

Awesome, I'm actually going to buy it from John Lewis with the soundbar on the other deal and hadn't thought about price matching, good thinking!

I bought it with the sound bar that now works out at £140 if you want to look at it that way. It was supposed to be £600 don't know about that but for this price jump in.
No Disney Plus and not coming any time soon
Cracking deal!

I've got the TX-55FZ802B which is just over a year old and it's a great OLED TV, like @drummerdave22 said QLEDs have higher brightness and are more of an all around TV, where OLEDs I feel are more catered to movies where you switch the light off and get engrossed in the vibrant colours and natural blacks you get from an OLED.
Most accurate picture in it’s class and support for both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
Expired as it’s now listed as ex-display
