Panasonic’s GZ950 OLED TV is compatible with multiple HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, for cinematic visuals as the original director intended, powered by the HCX PRO Intelligent Processor. Dolby Atmos sound places you at the heart of the action, and its customisable Smart Platform brings you a wealth of online apps, including streaming services Netflix and Amazon Prime Video in 4K.*

OLED Screen
The Organic LED display doesn't have a backlight, meaning that each pixel is self-illuminating. Every speck of light controls its own luminescence for true depth and colour gradation. You experience blacker blacks, whiter whites, and a more lustrous display. With 8 million of these pixels, Panasonic's OLED screen delivers outstanding clarity of colour, contrast and brightness, within a blur-free image that looks just as stunning from any angle.

HDR with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision
HDR deepens your view and shows shades previously unseen in home entertainment. Expanding light, dark and every colour in between to extraordinary new levels, this model's picture gets closer to real life. This TV supports all HDR formats including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision so you'll always get the full HDR treatment.

4K Ultra High Definition
This 55” screen has four times the number of pixels than 1080p Full HD TVs, delivering stunning realism, natural motion and incredible detail.

Features:

HCX PRO Intelligent Processor: Panasonic’s most powerful processor guarantees stunning picture accuracy. Tuned by a Hollywood colourist it ensures contrast and colour authentic to real life to do true justice to the film-makers’ vision.

Dolby Atmos Sound: get more immersed in your entertainment’s audio with the cinematic, three-dimensional sound placement of Dolby Atmos.

Sport & Game Modes: specially tailored viewing modes to immerse you in the drama of the sporting spectacle, and to deliver a super-responsive gaming experience.

THX Certified 4K Display: this TV has been independently awarded THX certification by George Lucas' company for its high standard of cinematic home viewing.

Intuitive Smart Platform
‘my Home Screen 4.0’ provides quick and intuitive access to the content you want, with a huge variety of apps on a customisable home screen. Regular updates keep it up-to-date with the latest technology and content developments. Cloud services let you use fully-fledged, large-data games and a wealth of content services, so you can quickly switch over from watching TV to playing games. And it's compatible with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Youtube, who offer streaming services in 4K*.

Works with your Smart Assistant
This Panasonic TV works with Google Assistant and Alexa devices, so you can change channel, adjust volume, and more, with just your voice, using compatible smart speakers.

Freeview Play
This Panasonic TV features Freeview Play. Combining catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television, watching what you want, when you want, is now easier than ever. It’s free from subscription and is compatible with existing broadband services too. Services such as BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and My5 are also available without having to open specific applications. This gives effortless scroll back so you never miss a second of your favourite shows.

Elegant design
With a thin OLED panel and slim bezel, the TV's sleek and elegant design is as stylish as its picture.

Cheapest I’ve seen an OLED. Not confident with that measly one year warranty though.

Yes that's the only thing putting me off. It's a shame they don't have the 65" 802B, that would be a good price right now and may tempt me.
I'm returning a different TV I bought from them, came with a vertical line of dead pixels across teh middle..
Fantastic deal! Not sure if this would fit in my front room but will buy anyway
I brought this a day ago(coming next week) at the £950 price. Used coupon to get it down to £900... Anything I can do? 🙈

This is a great deal as the GZ950 gives you the best picture. The only other close quality options are the GZ2000 and the Sony’s or C9.

Cancel the order if it hasn't yet been dispatched? If it has contact them and say you want a refund of the difference or you will refuse delivery, assuming you bought this exact refurb

Thanks may give it a shot Wish me luck. Always loved Panasonic this replaces an extra tv in the house which happens to be a Panasonic plasma

£80 difference. Super hot deal IMO. Even at higher prices.

You should never buy a refurb OLED unless the panel has been changed.
Everyone says not to buy a refurb oled but I've never read anybody who has and has then gone on to suffer problems.

You can filter Panasonic Ebay reviews to OLED and make your own judgement

Unless you know the history of a panel and its usage patterns, it is very risky IMO. Worth paying a couple of hundred more for new and a 5 year warranty. Each to his or her own, but spend a few months saving and avoid any used OLED IMO.
Has no one seen the low price they have on the 2000 model TV?
Panasonic eBay outlet got back to me saying no they can’t change the price

Still looking forward to seeing what condition they are in.

Well the tv came. Really good condition (like New).

60 hours usage and 15 times of being powered off...

No marks or anything. Box was resealed but good condition.

The important part is that the picture is amazing. Even better at home. No messing about with tweaking or lots of settings! It just looks divine and sound is decent too(for a tv).

Delivery men were dumb though. They opened up the box and lifted the screen using the thinnest points... 🙈🙈🙈 to verify everything was ok...

Was looking at the C9 but the HDR10+ inclusion and excellent out of box calibration made this a winner for actually watching stuff.

Just received mine. Looks like new. Was used for 2 hours and 5 times powered on/off. 4k picture amazing. Not bad for the price.
Even better! Excellent.
I actually took a punt on this as well! Having been on the lookout for an LG 55" C9 for the last couple of months at the right price, this cropped up and I figured it was worth a go given if it did arrive in poor condition I had 2x weeks to return through eBay anyway.

To my surprise the TV is literally like new, not a mark on anything and many included parts where still sealed in original packaging. Had it on most of yesterday, turned on and off multiple times and so far working perfectly. The only sign that it wasn't new was the box which had a tear from the carrying handle which had been re-taped. So far; very happy! The Panasonic UI is a bit bobbins but it does the trick and with the £500 I have saved I could easily afford an Amazon cube or similar.
