Another £100 drop on this fantastic TV (refurbished). The only downside is only 12 months manufacture warranty. If it drop further to £1k, I might bite as that is my max budget.

Official Panasonic ebay outlet.
I am sure many are familiar with this TV. Great review all accross the web.
10bit, FALD 512 zones, UHD Premium.

by contrast richersound (refurbished, 12 months warranty) price is £1449

I am no TV expert at all but would it not make more sense to buy a brand new OLED TV for this price - first thing come up in google was an LG OLED brand new 55 inch for £1199.00

that will be the 2015 oled. The B6 oled 55 had been 1500. For the 200 extra I would plump for that,

That one is OLED but not 4K (1080) and also a 2015 model which probably would not get HLG update.

Extra £200 and get the 65DX902b

Over a grand for Tv with only 12 months warranty ???

This is a great tv - panasonics flagship model of 2016. I bought mine new in November and love it. I have friends with 50-65" lg oleds and this is better especially at standard tv. 3d (even though nothing special and end of an era) is superb. 4k quality is just another level. Plus its 10 bit panel and hdr. Great specs tv which has not had a huge marketing campaign to flog it. Bit of an unsung hero i reckon. As i bought new direct from panny i got a 6 year warranty and even though i got it on offer at £1799 i am not bothered about this saving as i am over the moon with the tv

OLEDs are great for a lot of content, but they're not quite as good at HDR as flagship LCDs yet.

I concur. Whilst i would have loved a big OLED (who wouldn't) I have a Sammy 7000, budgets being budgets. That said, i spent a lot of time playing with models from Sony, Panny, Sammy and LG. As a rough parallel i liken OLED vs LCD comparisons to the old old plasma vs LCD. OLED is superior in most areas, but not HDR performance in my opinion. They lack the brightness, thus the dynamic performance, and to my eyes colour tends to go a little on tilt too.
