Looking through the AO 20% off TVs - this seems to be a really good deal, it's £649 in most places including Currys.

Top features:

- Cinema-quality picture with 4K Multi HDR

- Smoother, bolder images with Local Dimming and 1600 Hz BMR

- Switch Design with adjustable feet makes positioning your TV easier

- Smart TV gives you 4K streaming and more

- Catch-up TV apps so you don't miss your favourite shows

4K Multi HDR

Enjoy premium picture quality. The Panasonic TX-58EX700B 58" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV delivers vivid, richly-detailed images for a cinema-like feel. Wide Colour Spectrum technology enhances onscreen colours for more memorable viewing.

HDR creates more atmospheric and realistic lighting - blacks are deeper, highlights crisper and sharper. The TX 58EX700 offers Multi HDR compatibility, so it can activate HDR10 for most online and Blu-ray HDR content, and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) for upcoming HDR broadcasts by the BBC and Sky.

Smoother, bolder images

With deeper blacks, bright areas are emphasized – so you see more detail. Feel the thrill of every action-packed scene, and engage with every dramatic moment. Local Dimming controls the brightness and darkness of each area of the screen to enhance contrast even more.

Sports, games and action movies look incredibly smooth and lifelike with a 1600 Hz BMR that analyses each frame to minimise blurring and keep you focused on the sharpest part of the image.

Switch Design

Adjust the TV stand between curved or straight foot positions, or even put them in the centre. This will help you fit it onto different-sized cabinets, position your sound bar practically or just add a tasteful look to your lounge.

Smart TV

Start watching shows, films and more - the TV features popular apps like built-in Netflix and Amazon. Enjoy 4K HDR content and Wuaki TV (subscriptions required), plus diverse free content from YouTube and YouTube 4K, Vimeo, and many others.

Catch-up TV apps

Catch up with BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, and Demand 5 – there's also content from Dave, Really, Yesterday, and Drama, giving you a huge range of catch-up.

Catch-up TV is easier with Freeview Play. Search individual apps and see programmes you've missed over the past seven days. Panasonic's Quick Look Guide shows what's on, what you've missed and recommended shows at a glance.

Good price. Wonder if can be price matched

Dunno - John Lewis normally say it needs a comparable warranty these days don't they? Not sure about RS???
Does anyone know how this TV is compared to Philips ambilight TV's?
great tv with amazing picture, the HDR is good too and it has a game mode (20ms) HDR and game mode can be used at the same time 😁 good viewing angles. The TV is VERY heavy.. you won't be able to put it up yourself. it has a metal frame and overall the build quality is great.. All three hdmi ports run at 4k 60hz hdr.. never used the tv speakers as I use a soundbar

This or the Sony KD-55EX7073 or the Hisense H55U7A?
Ive got this TV, sure its no 10 bit fancy pants machine but I think its fantastic. Games on the Xbox One X look incredible.
The ******'s have put the price up by £50 now.

Sold 81... out of order 😞
Reckon I would take a look at the below deal rather than give them an extra £50.

Looks comparable in most respects - 8bit + FRC, 60hz panel, smart services - notable difference is 3" extra and the colour palette looks a bit wider, probably owing to the higher contrast ratio (deeper blacks I'd say based on what I have read).

Haven't seen the Sony first hand though.
I bought this for £729 last year. Amaxing price for this TV

The TV is cumbersome but not heavy. When you set the sound correctly this TV sounds fine to good. I hardly use soundbar. Briiant price.
