Is this vestel or true pana?:)

Vestel. The easiest way to tell is if the input panel on the back of the TV is in a small square.

If you can find a Toshiba or Techwood 65" TV for less money it will likely be exactly the same TV, just with a different brand name and styling.

They're pretty good to be fair. I've got a 43" Toshiba Vestel from AO in my bedroom and it's far better than I expected, given that people are usually very negative about Vestel. There won't be a massive variation in Quality between brands at the low end, including LG and Samsung.

I'd still go for an equivalent Samsung or LG if they are the same price though.

That’s what I am thinking
If you kept your eyes open you could have got a Samsung for less this via a JL price match.

Which Samsung
Nicolas11/05/2019 22:40

Which Samsung

"I have looked into your request and will be happy to match the price of £566.39 for the Samsung UE65NU7400 television (82462020) seen at Digital Outlet."

This was just before Mother's day. I purchased as gifts!

JL is now £699.

It was availaable for just over £533 from an internet retailer. JL would not price match this.
Now you know the true value and margins!

Well, if you want a television quickly you should not as the Samsung prices go up and down and you have to monitor them to get a "deal". I monitored for 3 weeks. I think the model is being discontinued. It is a midrange Samsung model with Crystal display. It is not a QLED or OLED, but very good for the price, and much better than the Vestel offerings.

Buy what you are happy with.

Warranty is important for me. I expect 5 years!
This is £719.89 in Costco (shows how overpriced they are). Email Costco and they may reduce their price tomorrow!

Nothing. In the past, I sent emails to Costco asking why their prices were so high. These were passed on to their buying teams, and suddenly they lowered their prices. Try it. It may work.

I have to agree. Used two 43inch Vestel Toshibas at a holiday cottage a few weeks ago and I was seriously impressed how good the picture quality was on the native Netflix app as well as FVHD. Couldn't fault it compared to the NU6800 Sammy we have at home. Obviously the HDR at this price will be rudimentary but for the price, I'd definitely not diss the value proposition here.

But they are low end devices so they aren’t going to be anything special. Next years models should be a bit better and have better performance. They’ve overhauled the UI and beefed up the hardware quite a bit. Still won’t be super amazing.
