£439.94 - 5 Year Tv Guarantee!
The Panasonic TXL42u3b gives you a Full HD 1080p screen, Freeview HD tuner and the expected excellence in picture quality, at a price you might not!
Featuring Full 1080p HD resolution and Panasonic's Super Resolution, the TXL42u3b offers class-leading image quality. The backlight's wide transmission aperture enhances not just the contrast between light and dark but also helps improve motion image response. The VIERA Vreal Plus engine ensures the bright, realistic colours you'd expect from Panasonic. Thanks to the wide viewing angle IPS panel, you'll also be able to get a better view, wherever you are in the room. Taken as a whole, the TXL42u3b has a bright and detailed picture with a far more natural quality than most of its similarly priced rivals.

With a home cinema-sized screen like this we'd always recommend a separate home cinema system for the best sound quality. Having said that, the built-in system offers enhancements over rival models. V-Audio Surround gives a spacious sound based on actual room measurement from the onboard digital signal processor. It gives a crisp, well-detailed sound quality. The twin, 10 watt speakers are also capable of projecting sound well into a larger room.

Another great Richer sounds deal. Good spot.

Shame its LCD, Panny Plasmas are much better

still reckon the lg 42" 3d for 499 on amazon is better

You use your X Box, Blu Ray and Sky Box all simultaneousely? Wow thats major multitasking.

Us mear mortals would be ok with this i suppose, we could simply unplug the Blu Ray and switch to X box as required. Or better still get a PS3

When he said 'Bluray player' I think he MEANT his PS3. That's all mine is!

IPS panel in a tv, sounds great. Heat

I cannot find any reviews for this Panny. Not even a 'customer review' at Amazon.

Good Brand. Nice Badge. May be a good TV. In the absence of a good review, I wouldn't take the chance.

For people who like to know exactly what they're buying see hotukdeals.com/dea…082

Full HD & HD Freeview. Great reviews. Also 51 'customer reviews' at Amazon, of which 43 are 4 or 5 Stars. Currently nothing to touch it for picture quality at this price.

Of particular value is that there's no Panel or Processor 'lottery' with the 40RV753. It contains an S-PVA panel & Toshiba's own processor, which is superior to pretty much any other used by sub-£500 TVs.

Yeah but he's talking about SKY or Virgin right?

Granted, you could switch over all the time but eventually that would get really annoying.

horacevankhute voted cold because its not the sony telly he bought

I phoned Richer Sounds about this tv - for once they had them in stock. The guy said he wouldn't recommend it though as it is '5 year old technology and made up of different parts' (whatever that means). I am thinking maybe this is an old design that Panasonic have put a HD Freeview tuner in and are selling as a budget tv. Hence no reviews.

We have a 2 year old Panasonic plasma that gets a great picture so this could still be a good buy.

Could someone please tell me on a 40 inch and 42 inch do you lose picture detail on a HD PICTURE ie freesat or freeview hd switch on here August !? Im told a 32 inch picture has more detail is this true ?? We sit in lounge 6 feet away from screen ! Thankyou for your help
