HD freeview and HD freesat tuners are inbuilt in this TV
The Blu-Ray player is around £90 and comes with the star wars trilogy
hotukdeals.com/dea…938

Makes the TV about £860 which seems a bit steep even for a fantastic Pani.

Similar Pani below (missing Freesat only) for £628. Combined price would be £720ish.

Completely agree if this is the TV you have your heart set on then this is a very good deal as basically a free Blu Ray Player.
Don't forget the 2 pairs of 3D glasses which total £140 if brought separately. So £950 - £92 - £140, £718 for the TV.
I would go for 50GT30 for only 50 quid more. Same deal on Amazon
But I couldn't resist the Lightning deal for 42GT30 few days ago with the same package for £622
By the way, glasses will be delivered in two months time as Amazon is short on stock
Sorry, it 75-80 quid more for the 50GT30 version (forgot to add 1/4 of the player price) , but still a much better deal in my opinion

it works out at a little over £1022 for the 50 inch, been umming and erring over this since yesterday.
Nooooooooooooooooo! There was a lightning deal for 42GT30 few days ago with the same package for £622? I have been after the 42" GT30 package for ages. I can't believe Amazon offered it for such a low price

Is it me or are we being taken for a ride over the price of 3d glasses
Thanks OP. Been debating on going for the cheaper 46ST or 50ST model. At this price it was a no brainer, ordered the 50GT at over £300 off what the same package would have cost at a local authorised retailer.
Probably being stupid but when I add these to the basket it comes to £1084.80
Can anyone help me out please?
joeac - What items did you add and what quantity? You'll have to go to the checkout screen to see the discount?
Should have read the original post properly lol. Your right went to the checkout and it went through, Thanks Price_smasher!

just bit the bullet,£1022 for the 50 inch, blu ray player and 2 sets of glasses.
This is what Im talking about! Real Tv here. Although I popped into John Lewis the other day to check out the ST30 and was not impressed AT ALL! What impressed me were the d8000 and the VT30 so waiting for them to get to a decent price. This is a good deal though!

I agree active glasses are a total rip off , that's why if i get one it's gonna be passive

After seeing a demo of gran turismo 5 on both techologys . The passive is just so much easier on the eye to watch. It looked just as good too just a shame there isn't a lot of choice passive wise at the minute for gamers.

been waiting for both of them to drop too, d800 has not budged a bit and is nearly double the cost of gt30. vt30 is nigh on identical to gt30, so saving £400+ on the deal.

This is true. Great deal this. But I was blown away by the Samsung. There's a reason why its that price!
God knows why this ain't hotter.

Couldn't get the pice to work on the 46 but only wanted the 42 anyway and that comes in at just less than £725

Bargain - the same package is £899 at comet

Great deal
