Slightly More than previously but a 40" HDR TV for £299

From website-

Our TX-40EX600B 4K HDR technology contains all of Panasonic's picture quality know-how for delivering beautiful, lifelike and accurate images

Advanced Colour Processing contains Panasonic's picture quality know-how in delivering faithful onscreen images

Specifically it delivers accurate colours and works to produce deeper blacks which retain detail even in dark scenes

Panasonic TVs support now multiple HDR formats, such as HDR10 the standard HDR format for films and UHD Blu-ray discs

And now also TX40EX600-B Hybrid Log Gamma, the HDR format for broadcast TV developed by the BBC and Japans NHK

During 4K signal transmission to the TV via HDMI, colour information is slightly compromised, resulting in less-than-ideal colour shading and gradation

With 40EX600 4K Pure Direct, all colour information and full resolution is transmitted to the TV, so that the picture retains its crisp, rich colours as intended in 4K Ultra HD

Wide or narrow, subtle or bold — with four distinct styles in one Flexible Pedestal design, now you can change the look of your TV as often as you remix your room

Also known as TX-40EX600B / TX40EX600-B / 40EX600

Does it matter?

Price match with Richer Sounds and the 6 year warranty will be there if it breaks down.

Picture is superb on this tv but you might want to consider a soundbar for the audio.

My bad...The last time this deal was on they had the 5 Year warranty for an additional £35 or so.

I called Richer Sounds and they price matched For £319 with 6 year warranty.

I have just checked and the warranty price from RGB has increased to £80 though...still worth it for £383 all in (after code)
Can anyone tell me anything about this TV? Is it any good? currys.co.uk/gbu…tml
Well, got this with the Easter code at £289

frankly, brilliant for the money.

In the bedroom. Easily better than the 4000,5000 and possibly 6000 series Samsung TVs I’ve got.
AO price matched also.

Google isn't always right...
Good bedroom TV but suffers from banding and poor motion handling
I also grabbed this on the Easter deal. Absolutely love it. Built in 4K apps are handy too (YouTube, Netflix and amazon video). Picture is great with my PS4 pro. Can’t complain for sub £300. Sound isn’t amazing but it’s not as bad as older TVs I’ve had.
Good price. Panasonic is very reliable. Trust me on that. It's LG or Samsung that I am a bit scared off. But I don't like the colours displayed on my Panny plasma. That cost me £700 10 years ago.

Its unlikely the colours will be similar on a completely different TV after 10 years, the technology is moving so fast now. Panasonic have always had a good name for reliability as well. At this price it seems like a steal to me!
With the problems i had with 2 x 58" Panasonic TV's ..... I wouldn't touch Panasonic with a barge pole
If this has 4:4:4 chroma then it would be perfect for a large monitor
I have set the tv up using these settings or close to it in the bedroom

Anyone else have any suggestions on screen setup?

EDIT

Just noticed that this is for the DX series and not EX series.

Whoops

Richersounds didn't price match, they want to add 75 pounds warranty and so match at 375 pounds not 299
£100 voucher code works so you save £100 off the £399 price. It says it’s reduced from over £600.
I did check online it’s available online and well known stores for around £399.
Absolutely worth saving £100!!! But don’t think the tv is worth £600+.
I think is a bargain myself but your not saving £250+

I haven't spoken to them, but online you can buy it for £349 with the guarantee from Richersounds (using the code "FLASH50", cheaper than rgb!)
