Enjoy super-detailed 4K UHD images for less, with the fantastic value Panasonic TX49DX600B.

4K Ultra HD TV

Boasting an UHD (Ultra High Definition) 4K screen resolution, the Panasonic TX49DX600B demonstrates astonishing levels of detail. This resolution is four times greater than the more conventional 1920 x 1080 Full HD TVs and it's a difference you'll really notice. This DX600B model is also compatible with the format required for streaming Netflix 4K, for 4K entertainment straight away.

4K 800 Hz BMR for a crisp response

The Panasonic TX-49DX600B uses a 4K 800 Hz BMR (Backlight Motion rate) panel for a super-crisp motion response. This means that when watching action movies or sport, this 49 inch TV has the speed and clarity to keep up with the action without motion blur.

Spacious sound

In addition to offering a superb picture quality, the Panasonic TX49DX600B also offers good sound quality too. The built-in 20W amplifier provides full-bodied sound, while VR-Audio True Surround produces a surround sound effect. There's both analogue (via headphones) and optical digital audio outputs, so it's easy to add a home cinema system or soundbar/base.

Effortless operation with my Home Screen 2 powered by Firefox OS and Voice Assistant

Highly rated by the reviewers, my Home Screen 2 offers an attractive and clear operating interface which is also easy to customise. By using clear, superimposed icons, it's easy to find the function you want. Better still, with just a few clicks you can get your favourite apps, web pages or even TV channels to appear on your own customised Homepage. With clarity and easy customisation, this is how Smart TV should be! Voice Assistant means you simply have to speak into the controller to bring up content and search results.

Integrate your entertainment

When it comes to smart TV flexibility, the TX49DX600B has all the features you need. A wide range of web apps are complimented by a full web browser. DLNA certified streaming makes it easy to transfer music and video files from your home computer, laptop or NAS drive to the TV. Also standard is Swipe and Share functionality. Swipe and share lets you use the Panasonic VIERA app for smartphone media sharing. By using the app on your smartphone or tablet you can easily stream pictures, 4K videos and music straight to the TV - no cables required.

Freeview Play for easy access to catch-up TV

The Panasonic TX49DX600B features Freeview Play. This combines catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television to make it easy to watch what you want, when you want. It's free from subscription and compatible with existing broadband services, while BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, All 4 and Demand 5 are available without having to open specific apps, giving effortless scroll-back TV (requires broadband Internet connection with a minimum speed of 2Mbps).

new with a 6 year guarantee is a better buy for £80 more IMO.

Very short warranty is off putting.

How come there's so many refurbished or ( new ) repaired things on the market is it things are not built right in the first place ie (MADE TO LAST)

As far as I know, refurbished goods are those which have been opened and then subsequently returned by a customer. This doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the item. But a retailer can't sell it as new anymore as the item has technically been used. Some may have missing accessories though so keep that in mind.

Wouldnt spend that much on a refurb TV. Should be much less.

Is this not a Vestel?

Reviews of the actual panel? Is this top for the price? I don't know enough about the tech

Most of them are probably not actually refurbished, it's just sounds better than "second hand" or "cosmetically damaged", This has become very common in recent years
