Returned it and bought a hisense 55B7500UK which is outstanding. Cost £100 more but has a 6 year warranty.

I never thought I would see the day when a TV with the brand name Hisense would be better than a Panasonic TV. When I last bought a TV 11 years ago, Panasonic, along with Sony and maybe Samsung, were the premium mass-produced brands. I'm in the market for a new TV now so I will need to do some more research as times have changed and Chinese companies are now a big force in technology.
Run to the Hills kids it’s a vestel Turkey
Robbo: The last few years the lower half of Panasonic's range have been sub-contracted to Vestel, they're only "Panasonic" in name not manufacture. That's why.

It's a relatively basic Vestel manufactured TV, with an IPS panel. It's almost identical to the lower models in Toshiba's range of TV's, like the 49U2963DB, just with different styling.

Its alright at this price though.

Rebadged vestel?
Lcd so automatically cold
550b is a 2018 model the 555 is the 2019 model which addressed the issues this model has ( washed out colours if someone is sitting to one side of the tv, led bleed etc )

I still heated as this is a great price for what you get, but try looking for the 555, panasonic has them on ebay refurbed for £180 now and again with 12 months warranty.

Price Ok , but a poor quality TV. Pay a little more and get a 2019 Samsung or LG, as the price's are dropping to around £300 for a 43"!

I get light bleed on edges with this TV. Very noticeable with football. Do you have a similar experience?
I have the 555 model I wouldn’t call it terrible.
I’m not a TV fanatic tho.
Occasionally Netflix and Xanax.
For kids tv its bang on.

What a car

From the thumbnail, I thought it was an Austin Maxi for a second.
I picked one of the refurb ones of these last week for £180, I'm not a TV expert but (having seen some of the cheap panels about) I was expecting disappointment from it.... I'm pretty impressed to be honest. If I had to pick fault I suppose it doesn't deal particularly well with SD inputs (but that kind of goes with the territory on a large screen), and the user interface isn't particularly intuitive, otherwise I'm happy with it so far (watching Sky Q, Netflix through the inbuilt app, and playing PS4 - only in 1080p as I've not got around to bypassing my v1 PSVR).
For reference, I've upgraded from a 10 year old Samsung 1080p 3d model - perhaps it would be different if I was upgrading from something newer, but I never had any complaints about the Samsung other than age-related app compatibility.

Alot more.. And 43" quite a bit smaller than a 49". Massively. Or link at least.. And LG's are tat. Make sure to get a warranty when buying any TV especially LG. John Lewis 5 year and Richer Sounds 6 year cannot be beaten.

Panachronic. Generally less acceptable than Samdung.

Yes but a cheap rebranded Vestel, is not worth spending £265. Unless your buying for a hotel, bed & Breakfast, or someone you hate!
