They will only price match with 5 year warranty. so £579.25+£99= £678.25-£10(PRICEMATCH)= £668.25 with 5 year warranty

Fantastic price i think for a great tv

Good tv, as long as people know its not 1080p.

Would be fine for normal sky and tv.

It wouldnt be as good with blueray or xbox etc

Heat added though for warranty alone

Original Poster

they also have PANASONIC TXP50G10 but that is 1259 with 5 years. double the price of this

i would say for a big tv, normal sky etc. bargain! sky doesnt give you 1080p anyway

Original Poster

well blueray is only the realistic thing u will use 1080p for. most ps3 games are 720p anyway. so it wouldn't look any different on a hd ready to a full hd. the only difference you will really tell is on blueray or sky hd. am i correct in presuming this

Good price - especially as DSG have the nerve to have Curry's "MEGA deals" advertised in the newspapers today with this set at £749.99 with their £6.99/m product support.

So those nice people at Richer Sounds = £668.25 over 5 years
Those **** people at Currys = £1169.39 over 5 years ie 74% more :whistling:

Just have a go at getting John Lewis to undersales/pricematch it at the website Richer Sounds basic price of £1144.95 (ie before RS +10% 5yr), although recognise JL will charge extra for delivery (if needed), though will give your their 5yr warranty "for free". Worth checking IF that is the price showing at your RS though, as the website does say "Some of these web prices may be cheaper than in-store".

That RS website price has fallen £45 over the last week too!

I dont even think you would notice the difference with SKY HD, I know xbox project at 1080i.

I say its a sound buy, panasonic, and for a tv of that size.
I paid £860 for my 50" 1080p panasonic. Normal guarantee though :o)

860 wow. Where did u get that 4rm.
