Great Price! The Glasses are worth 70-80 each so 769 - 160 = 609 + free 5 Years Warranty. I got the same from John Lewis a month ago and I paid 950 was the cheapest. Amazing picture quality tv, highly worth it at this price

Yay, nearly bought this yesterday for 799 at John Lewis and would have had to fight to get the glasses free. Let's hope I can go around and have it price matched

Looks like a great telly when I saw it instore

This is a good deal, however hoping the GT will drop before xmas.

You have to collect from the store in weymouth to get this deal with 5 year guarantee so only really useful for people local to the area. Ok for me if I was buying because I'm in Yeovil, 26 miles away but not practical for a lot of people on hotdeals.

Gt is much nicer too look at, the st has a plasticky bezel

Everyone should do themselves a favour and wait for decent FPR3D TV's to drop in price.
But, if you simply must have 3DTV now, this is a rather nice one to get.

It's also £300 more expensive, it should look better for that price.

Or you could be getting it just because it has a better panel than the non 3D S30 for not a lot more.

I have this TV and its great, the 3D is of good quality, the upscaling etc of normal TV is very good, HD broadcasts are crystal clear and a huge improvement on my previous Samsung, you can also download a free calibration DVD off the internet for it, run through the settings etc in that and then just enjoy the set, its is incredibly good and at this price is a steal! I paid £800 plus £160 for 2 sets of glasses a few months ago.

As for comparissons against other Panasonic ones in teh range, it is obviously the budget one of the lot but it still has iplayer etc via a LAN cable hooked up direct to my router, the bezel is a very dark grey but doesnt look out of place against my all black set up, overall its a great set, in my opinion the extras on the others in the range for my particular set up didnt justify doubling the cost, so overall, a great deal on this one, HOT!

GT for £900, where? would be v. interested in that deal. cheers.

nice tv and gd price, but 3d is on its way out, revenues are down, footfall is down as ppl not prepared to pay the extra at cinemas, more ppl opt for the 2d version now, shame industry got greedy and ppl are rebelling, heat added for tv

Despite the hype, data suggests people generally find the technology … Despite the hype, data suggests people generally find the technology expensive, 3D content limited, and the glasses annoying. 3DTV set sales haven't taken off, and they show no sign of doing so -- as many simply see the functionality as an uninteresting gimmick

if they made the g30 with Infinite Black Pro i would have bought that

It's about time a 50" deal was posted. I'm getting sick of all the 42" deals. Slightly off-topic, but for those of us who really do not want 3D at all therefore do not want to pay for it, what's the best bang-for-buck 50" 1080p plasma on sale today? I've kinda lost touch with the market since I bought my Pana 42" PX60 a few years ago.

Doesn't really matter whether 3D survives or not, this telly functions perfectly well in 2D and is better value than purely 2D S30 version.
