The latest Panasonic TX-P50UT30B is sure to get the pulses racing for the more discerning viewer.

Where quality of image is of the upmost but during these less ostentatious times finances are not exactly at a premium, the Panasonic TX-P50UT30b we are sure at Digital Direct will be a firm favourite for 2011 to 2012.

Incorporating the brilliant 600Hz allows motion to be handled smoothly and fluidly. By bundling this with the intelligent frame creation pro any inaccuracies or anomolies are removed and refined to give you the ultimate wide screen cinema image.

Game mode quickly defines the image to give you the best frame rate as well as colour and hew to not only optimize the screen, but to get you playing better and seeing things clearer than you normally would do on other picture modes.

With such clarity and attention to picture detail, Panasonic have included at this price point 3D as standard. Add a pair of 3d eye wear and enjoy the ultimate 3d experience. 3D adds a dynamic like no other. 2D images are simply not as accurate nor realistic as 3D which gives you the ultimate in realism and AV enjoyment.

The consistency of image is also maintained with the inclusion of Freeview High Definition. Freeview HD allows the TV to receive more information and better information for your every day television viewing without any costly Sky Tv upgrade or Satellite subscription. With the likes of the Formula 1, Wimbledon, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, X Factor all being shown on 1080i / 720p glory, high definition really does give you the power to receive better images from your programming. Check with Freeview.co.uk for coverage, but is is estimated in the next couple of years that the UK will be over 90% switched on and ready to go.

With the tv becoming more of a multimedia hub, and lets face it, during the advertisement breaks would it not be enjoyable to update your Facebook profile or check your Yahoo account. The Panasonic TXP50UT30b is internet ready via Panasonics excellent Cloud based connect system, can be made WiFi with the Panasonic DY-WL10, so you can network your Windows 7 Pc or modern Smartphone.

4 HDMI connections allow for all your needs to be simply and easily hooked up. Blu Ray, Playstation Games machine or X Box, High Def Camcorder can be plugged in all at once if you want. The old scart is catered for, digital optical out for easy plugging into your home cinema amp, USB 2 for video playback from camera or dongle (plus photo viewing), and RCA if you simply want to beef up your sound into your stereo.

The 50UT30 is an excellent tv from Pana and shows the commitment to bringing the utmost quality throughout the ranges. Digital Direct see the TX-P50UT30b as a must buy in the entry level, super value Tv market and with all the advantages that plasma can offer ie near zero cross talk on 3D (a claim that no LED / LCD can bring to the table), superb black levels and advanced Freeview tv ability you simply are looking at an AV bargain!

This is a great tv, thanks to M&S for my greatest ever HUKD deal...

M&S??? how much was it there?

is that including VAT?

Google the model and much cheaper prices come up....without any membership costs!

UT is the base spec of the range. Better off paying £50 more for ST range me thinks with better panel.

I ordered ST when M&S made a price boob but ended up with the UT, it is a great tv. I may pay £50 more for an ST but I doubt anyone would be disappointed with this UT as it really is a good tv in my opinion.

By the way the M&S fiasco was a long drawn out affair but many HUKD members bought and the cost was a meager £174 delivered with 5 year warranty......not trying to detract from this deal just stating how good it is and a little bragging on the deal thanks to HUKD

Quite a lot got the ST, nobody knows the numbers but I think there was a lot of HUKD members on the deal.....it was awesome. There was about 4000 posts so takes some reading lol....

The price was £199 but cancelled then they gave £25 credit for the disappointment, then they decided to honour the deal, made a lot of national papers etc but the 6 week / 2 month battle was worth it in the end. Once they ran out of the ST they sent the UT but it is a great tv.

I'm so happy with my 50" UT Panny thanx to the bargain M&S glitch(thanx hotukdeals!) Mine did cost a huge £199 though as they never gave me the £25 voucher lol Glad I never got the ST now after reading a few of the 'green blob' issues some are experiencing lately.
