Sorry on behalf on Samsung and Sony.
pants bought a lg tv, didn't care for 3d, but just a few hours ago watched a 3d movie and its pretty impressive, hate it if you want but a decent 3d tv is pretty good, I've seen cheap ones too and i'll admit they are rubbish
but anyways, thanks for telling me, I shall now bin the 3d copy and only watch the 2d versions in future!
Mugs?
Shouldn't you be out sweeping chimneys while listening to chas and Dave?
to each there own , if they want to waste there money then its up to them, would be nice if you said why you think its crap

Have you watched Frozen 3d on a 4k tv? Probably not from your comments as if you had you'd understand just how good 3d can be
It's amazing, I've watched on cheaper sets and 3d can be poor, but on a 4k set ...
Bought some cheap passive glasses from eBay for less than a £1 each
on a good quality 4k tv with 3d (active or passive) - beautiful!
yes im a mug bought a 3d never used it not worth the money for the set ...
Yeah, playing all my better than console quality pc games on a large 3D tv is just crap. I am such mug. I make sure I close one eye when I leave the house too.
If these had been active glasses for this price then I would be voting hot.
Passive are less of a strain on the eyes. Try watching two 3d films back to back with active...glasses are heavy and uncomfortable and can make you feel sick after a while. The 3d on active is better though
With 4K TVs now having passive 3d there should be no cut resolution 'problem' anymore, so the 'active 3d is better' crowd should finally be put to rest.
