That's quite impressive actually along with the UHD Blu Ray included. I have been collecting UHD Blu rays for the past few months for films with Dolby Atmos but I'm yet to buy a player. This one any good?

Had my eye on the UB450 though but this is tempting

Good review here:

The 150 does not have a separate HDMI audio out, you need the 159 if that is important to you which I believe is a Currys exclusive. It's currently £159 oddly enough for the 159. You don't get any films but to be honest other than baby driver the rest I wouldn't give the house space to.

It is a good player but please note you cannot play Dolby Atmos from USB (well most players doesn't) and Dolby Vision.
Says can use code SIGNUP10 for 10% off but it won't take it off the £184.99 at checkout

I know they’re not the best movies but for the price of 4K movies it’s like you’re getting the player fro free!
No Dolby Vision on this model unfortunately.

Yes, but the x700 is gone out of stock. The UB450 is available for £170 from Curry's ebay

The Sony UHD players are a bit of a pain as they don't auto-switch between HDR and Dolby Vision you have to select manually. They are also not as well reviewed as the Panasonics. As mentioned this model does not have DV, which is becoming (become?) the standard for 4K disks, the Panasonic UB820 is the best player you can get for the money, the UB450 is almost as good, it has the same picture quality but not as many customisable settings which may or may not be worth the extra.

If you dont mind a reconditioned unit Panasonic ebay outlet frequently have refurbs for £100 for the 450 and £220 for the 820, but they tend to put them for sale in the early hours of the morning between 2am and 4am and they sell fast.

Oh thanks. I would love to get hold of a 450 for £100. I don't mind a refurbished one as it's coming from Panasonic themselves. 2-4am lol jeez

It's dolbys version of hdr far as I remember. Not necessarily better than normal hdr and only so many films have dv.

You're welcome it took me a few days to get one the first couple of days I didn't see any, I saw one posted at around 2:40am put it in my basket and waited about 5 minutes or so deciding whether to get it or not, by time I decided to check out someone else had bought it. The next day there was one posted at 3am which I was able to get.

This pretty much sums it up. They are all different standards of 4K. Dolby Vision tending to be the best version:

Is it 3am every night that they update the listings?
Good price and not voting cold, but the reason it's going cheap is because its HDR10+ probably. I have a feeling this is going to be a dying format as Dolby Vison seems to be the chosen format.

Absolutely no chance you can justify the price of the UHDs being £185. There's some right tosh in there.

Good luck! When I was looking out for them they were posted at 2.40 and 3am, two nights there weren't any listed, or I missed them, I think theres a bit of luck involved in spotting when they become availble.
