That's a great price.
Don't want a Turkish made TV masquerading as a Panasonic, but decent deal regardless
Wonder if this supports Youtube, Amazon Movies and Netflix in 4k?
It does according to description on curry's website
I'm afraid 'refurbished' to me means 'second hand' and there's always a reason for putting things on ebay ... then they make you pay with PayPal that does not give you the same rights you have when paying directly by credit card

Is the issue that its Turkish or that it's Vestel?

ebay is a useful tool for companies that don't want to set up their own 'outlet' site a-la Argos etc.
It's refurbed and sold by Panasonic and has 12 month warranty. Still useful if you want to save some dosh (more than £200)
But I get your drift
Is this Any decent for ps4??
HEAT!

Good price for the spec and its still a 2015 model [feb] that has all the bells and whistles..

Brilliant stop gap until the DX902B comes down in price!
I have bought a laptop and a tablet that were manufacturer refurbished via ebay.

Once received, items looked brand new. The only thing was neither came in original box.

So far refurbished has worked good for me

Last time i checked Paypal pretty much covered everything a CC would when used for purchasing items off ebay
As a buyer on ebay you really do have your sellers by the short and curlies then you have the option of opening up a dispute with PayPal for upto six months after purchase. As above you're pretty much fully covered.
Was going to bite but every review I've watched hates it
Now do not have info how many are available, sneaky seller !
Does this have a Freesat HD tuner?

Using this TV (or any TV) would be great for the PS4, as it will allow you be able to see the screen and the games you play once its all connected up.
I bought one of these and it got sent strait back. it is total garbage and no where near as good as my 8yo LG.
Its a piece of carp
Got any Veras?

Hello Tosh, gotta a new Toshiba. Ain't half built well!
eBay and PayPal is very safe for a buyer, They will side with you 99% of the time. I've found this out from being a seller. Proof of delivery with their signature even isn't enough if the buyer says they havent got it.
Guaranteed some one always brings up vestel give it a rest you sad ****
Is there a genuine reason why these being Vestel built is a bad thing? Does that make Panasonic no better than say Seiki?

Do not buy this Tv for ps4,input lag is around 100-200 ms on this TV ,no chance to play on any console or use this as PC monitor(except movies etc.)
I had this TV 40 inch and I have sent this back, one of the worst Tv I have seen in my life.

Vestel made Panasonic's perhaps but in long run it will affect the reputation of their high end TVs... in fact that's started to happen
Heat purely on price not because its a Vestel oO
Think everyone's getting confused

Vestels are fine, it's the wasteall 'make' you have to worry about

Lovely
Just purchased the 48 inch version in the realist deal posted last week. It's going straight back unfortunately. 4K looks lovely in it, but the constant electrical buzz whilst displaying said video is enough to cause concern. Coupled with the awful artefacts within moving images.

Honestly thought I was getting a bargain, what a shame.
Here's a bit of info about Credit Cards vs Paypal.
moneysavingexpert.com/cre…n75

Personally, if there's something someone is selling that I really want, and the only option was Paypal, I'd still buy. But, if seller happens to give you the choice, then I'd choose to pay by CC.

Its a decent price.

But its not a real Panasonic.

When this is mentioned, many start throwing accusations of 'badge snob' about.

But there is a reason why the distinction between Vestel Panasonic & real Panasonic needs to be made.

Hadn't noticed it was refurbished. (Despite the "REFURBISHED" in capital letters !) X) That puts a different slant on things

? You get a 12 month warranty

I would want/expect a TV to last longer than 12 months - if it goes wrong at month 13 you have no comeback.
PayPal only gives about 45 days protection - so I NEVER use it on high-value items (£100+)
You get about 5-6yrs protection if pay with credit card but I always buy TVs from John Lewis as they give 5-yr guarantee and less hassle if goes wrong and fixed my TV within 2 days (arguing and paperwork with credit card company might take longer)
So buying something via PayPal with only 12-month warranty is a chance you take
True I also bought a Panasonic from John Lewis and still have it 8 years on. I don't know about PayPal warranty never tried never will hate the company nearly as much as eBay what other options are there ? My point is I had terrific service from Panasonic outlet for another tv I got which turns out was a vestel but honestly wasn't that bad but in the end had to return it and they couldn't be more helpful . Obviously I can't say that they will be like that everytime as you always get a few unhappy customers whether justified or not but personally I wouldn't hesitate buying from them again but just appreciate that it's like an open box sale at richer sounds ( eg damaged box , missing manual ) but I am happy to go without that if it's a lower price
