I've never heard of the following site, but it seems to be slightly cheaper:

]http//ww…228

£1,333.50 inc delivery...

It's a pricey TV though.

could you add the price in the title. it took me a while to find it.

Emma, do you ever sleep?:-D

you always seem to be on the forums lol

No cabinet with that one though Emma

The wall mounted version is available for £1338 from RGB, Digital Direct and a couple of others. None of those appear to include the cabinet either...

Ooops didn't notice that Ray Sorry.

[SIZE=2]Didn't I tell you chrisapplegate, I'm actually a hedgehog, I'll be hibernating in the winter, so I can be on here all summer. And over the winter, my second cousin[/SIZE] will be taking over - he's a reindeer by the way.

Ok. I'm going to bed now. I've lost it completely.

hehe emma ur as mad as cheese but lovely with it :-) a true star of a hedgehog :-) hope ur winter cousin is half as good.

My partner and I want to purchase a plasma tv and the Panasonic TH42PX60CAB has caught our eye so far the cheapest we have seen it is on RGB Direct but I was wondering if you guys knew of anywhere cheaper?

Dear Andy123, belated thanks if I may.

I ordered the deal through Dixons and got the discounts that you gave in your post.

You may raise an eyebrow ;-) if I tell you that I was sent Panasonic TH42PX600 with the cabinet for PX60 model [this cabinet I realised is slightly smaller]. I would not have realised it at all if not for the screws [this model requires longer screws] that hold the TV on the stand. I presume that Dixons were out of stock for the PX60 and sent me the pricey PX600 variety.

I was waiting these two weeks to see if I get a call or e-mail from Dixons telling me that they made a mistake and exchange the TV - so far no calls. I fixed the TV on the slightly smaller but compactly fitting PX60 cabinet [small compromise] after buying longer screws from B&Q and am now enjoying, as you are, the beauty of this television.

Thanks again  .

Regards,

Saabu.

Ps: Added to your reputation.

i bought this tv as package about 3 months ago from comet i got the stand, the tv and dvd home cinema system and a additional 2 year warranty that cost me £2170 so this price is good and i would highly recommend people to buy it as it is a very good price. the picture quality is superb and the new flat speakers are really cool. a must buy and also the brand panasonic speaks for it self. i have had so many problems with tvs after my first tv brokedown but with this one not one problem its a quality tv not the cheap ones which break very easy. i have a black panasonic vcr that has lasted me 10 years i have dropped it so many times and it still works perfectly has any one else got one?

Your VCR gets moved around a lot then? Or do you drop it to test it

Thanks for the information sarbjeet_ Sounds like a really decent quality TV...

I have bought this tv,
It is a good tv but i wouldn't recommend it if one was buying for HD as it is not True HD and for a bit more money you can get True HD.
It is only true 720 HD which is not much TV for that sort of money.

I bought it and can't thank you enough! I'd been planning on getting the PX60CAB and was about to order at John Lewis for (a price-match of) £1399, so was delighted to have purchased it for £1207.26 with your help!

If you're wondering how I got it for less that £1220, Dixon's dropped their price after I had ordered, but before I received the TV so after a bit of email banter got them to refund the difference. Interestingly I noticed egg deducted the cashback for the portion that was refunded, the sly dogs!

Cheers mate, best purchase I've ever made!
