Fantastic price, beats my deal

Yeah I nearly posted this the other day but wasn't sure if it was a good deal, JL may price match as Crampton and Moore do have physical stores.
I filled in their form online. Would solve most of my problems if they accepted.

Good luck, I eventually went for the Sony for £509 from Amazon but if the android software is too buggy will return and buy this. Was really happy with my last Panny set.

Will John Lewis price match?

I've recently tried 4 price matches with JL and they have been rejected for the most obscure reason...only reason I can see here is the having to pay cost of return and then getting a refund...yes, JL are THAT picky.

I purchased this model from John Lewis a month ago for £699, and they price matched Crampton & Moore's £649, also ignoring the ~£12 delivery charge

If update is done correctly Sony TV is infinitely better, android with built in chrome cast. (Carry out updates with no hdmi's plugged in, just coax and Internet) Your changing to a 200hz screen and as more 4K comes available it may struggle on upscale.
And you may get a 5 year Sony warranty free if your tv is listed here!

What's this tv like for standard definition viewing?
These TVs have had terrible reviews - check them out on amazon. A lot of them are refurbished models designed in Turkey

Crampton and Moore are based in Yorkshire and do offer an excellent service so why bother with JL.

Think you are confusing this with some of the entry level ones. This is a well reviewed TV.

I have this tv, can't think of a single thing I dislike about it- it's pretty much perfect in my eyes.

Got it from rakuten for £690 but with the 25x points then used the £180 so to pay for most of a ps4

This is not a budget Panasonic tv and nor is it made in turkey. Check your facts before you comment!
Can any current owner confirm the colours, please? Is the surround and stand black of graphite / silver please?
Thanks
Also, is the stand pre attached to the tv straight out the box?

Can any owners also give the actual stand dimensions to ensure it fits on my tv stand please.

The surround is black thin and glossy on three sides, with a dark grey-black metal strip across the bottom, and a very thin matching glossy black strip under the metal. The stand is a lighter mid-chrome-y metal

This stand is not pre attached but simple enough to bolt on as instructions come supplied. Great TV and thoroughly recommend it.

The stand is not attached straight out the box, though quite straight forward to fit and the JL delivery guys offered to do it for me had I wanted it.

As we wall mounted ours, our stand is packed away I'm afraid. My partner estimates from memory 45cm wide x 15cm deep, but I'm sorry we can't be more accurate than that.

The stand is 54x21cm, takes about a minute to attach too.
Thanks for the stand dimensions...just waiting for the JL price match now!
Had 2 price match from JL against this company both accepted.
JL price matched a HiSense TV from this company earlier. So, this should also go through.
Just set mine up this morning. Seems excellent for the price. I paid 599.99 from CoOp. Listed at 649.99 but there is a £50 off voucher online. Free delivery also with a one hour time slot.
Code is FTV50 for £50 discount on TV's over £600 at co-op.
The stand is chrome and attaches via 8 cross head screws - screwdriver is not supplied. Very easy.

i checked my facts via Amazon reviews.
I've tempted by the 55" version. Just worried about how standard def will display as current plasma handles it well

Some sets are made in Turkey, but I am not sure Turkey = bad anyway. Czech is where Panasonic assemble their own? (see AV forum thread below)
I'd probably go by reviews, more than country of origin. If they can make iPads in China...

That's the 400 and below series. As you can see, this is the 600 series. Not made in Turkey. Not Vestel.
