Very good price. This is a good LED alternative to the LG Plasma in another listing.
Heat

seems a good deal only hope its not store specific

RTC = store specific??

This years model and this price
is an absolute gift. Get on your
horse to Hindley quick (They
don't have buses there yet)
Hot and thanks for the post.

White hot deal. Asda may have slightly cheaper prices for a lot of goods, but Tesco wins hands down when it comes to special offers (and glitches!), and their loyalty card.

Great price

For those interested in the product page: tesco.com/dir…prd

Heat added! Nice if you can get one!

Got one of these from John Lewis couple months back for £500, great TV if you're not fussed by any 'smart' stuff. For this price it's a great deal.

want want, none around me

Currys/Pc World will price match this product and give you 10% off the difference - Currys/Pc Worlds price is £479 so the difference is £155 giving a 10% discount of £15.50, bringing the price down to £308.5

And if you have a Tesco staff discount card the price drops to £291.6

they only price match if the item is in stock at the other retailer. at this price they will definitely call up and check stock.

I am not so sure, seeing the amount of wild goose chases people put themselves through RTC may as well be store specific!

£469 at Amazon, this is a great saving from that, but obviously quite a cheap price for a 50" LCD to start with.

do i have to ring specific stores to check stock or can this this done online

thanks

Voted +HOT on the cheapest decent 50" LCD in the UK today!

In addition to OP:

These are not store specific or local, it is a national reduced to clear deal and so will be FCFS :-)

Be aware Tesco HOMEPLUS stores have none.

The stock is in Tesco EXTRA & some [not many] Tesco EXPRESS stores [only due to stock storage limitations] for collection only.

You cannot [unless you are smooth] reserve one and the stores are not [some do] allowed to *keep* RDC stock for you.

Got 3 [various stores] collected, from various EXTRA's who all had on average 2 units to sell at this price.

This is NOT a smart tv and so if you need smart stuff, get one of these to go with your DEAL OF THE YEAR 50" LCD!

hotukdeals.com/dea…e=3

Obviously with Panasonic announcing they are getting out of TV's prices will drop, but even waiting for this years Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals, this model is current and doubt will be cheaper to buy anywhere.

Tried to get Curry's price match and get 10% of the difference, nearly but would not do it as RDC stock only!

Best of luck, ring the stores direct, be polite and they may keep one for you

Just hooking the Panasonic Media Streamer up to one via Viera Link to see what it can do on a matching TV!

Panasonic are only stopping production of Plasma TV's as far as I'm aware .

Out of stock online and in most stores

good for a 50" but not good for connectivity or media, no ethernet port or streaming services.

hot!

We bought this TV for work from Amazon the other day (£400 ex VAT, I'm not paying so whatevs) and it's a really impressive picture, anyone thinking of getting it I guarantee you'll be impressed (especially for the money!)

Any chance providing us the product code please

Currys/Pc World will price match none online products if you can prove a store nearby has stock available, all they need to do is call the store to confirm the price and stock level, if they have it in stock for a lower price they will price match it.

wow even better!!! Will try before I go to pick up mine

Good deal. Cheaper to run than plasma and considering the price rises on electricity due for british gas customers another thumbs up from me.

Tried that instore, Currys would not do it, mainly because by the time you leave the tesco store after finding stock, they have none left *instock* so then have to contact curry's head office team, who organize a *code* to use in store to match the price, by the time they do all this, tesco have no stock [tried it 5 times with the £180 Nokia Lumia 925 sim free deal] left!

Simple way is to ring your local tesco extra, talk to the *electrical desk manager* and ask nicely if they will put it aside for you for a few hours until you finish work to collect it :-)

There are not many left, but there are plenty of extra stores to choose from!

None available in Antrim:( Just a load of the inferior 720p plasma version at £400.

I did however pick up 400g of rump steak for £3.20 on the almost out of date shelf.

So you win some, you lose some. Mostly lose today tho.

Fair point about the stock levels but Curry's don't need a code from head office? any staff member can preform the discount manually - Currys/PC World is still the cheaper option due to the extra £15.5 off the price if both stores have stock.

Try these ones, worth a drive to belfast if they have any left :-)
