On the hunt for a to. Saw this in local currys reduced from 719 to 450. Then saw pixmania has it for 399. Currys said would price match. Then for me I also have a few options. O2 priority moments £10 off also my Natwest cash back has a £25 balance that I can exchange for £50 in currys vouchers making it £339 then paying with my Natwest debit card puts 5% (£17) back in my cash back account. So £339 and only losing £8 from my cash back account

I must ask though what peeps think of the spec. It sounds good being 3d rates well in reviews but what's the 1200hz screen on an led??

Its got Freetime which is a plus point but Currys do the 42" non-3D AS520 for £349

Good point.... Brings up a lot of questions though. The 40" is 3d where as the 42" isn't. But tech going over my head is the motion rate and on is 100hz in the 42" but 1200hz in the 40" also the 40" has a voice active remote. Also the 40" is direct lit vs the 42" edge lit???? Arrgghhh so for £50 is it worth the 2" less screen and better?? Specs??

I like the spec on 40". Surprised at how many people voted this cold.

i have the 40as640b or 650 cant remember got it from the panasonic outlet on ebays its amazing quality with a really small bezel so the tv as a hole is smaller than my old sony one...... the one thing i did notice at the start of fifa 15 games it is jump but on my old sony it wasnt :-/ not sure whats up with that anyone else experienced that?

Surely being 3d, Panasonic, smart, and included features makes it hotter than this for the money?? Payday here I come

3d is a dead format . Just cant justify 4k yet tho

It's a pseudo rate defined by Panasonic. The panel itself is 100Hz, anything above this represents its real time processing rate. Best to go by the reviews.
