This one is a vestel set. Fine if you know what you are buying but not if you think it's a Panasonic.
If it helps anyone, I made an offer of £269 + £3 delivery and Tesco accepted it, to my surprise. Ended up pulling out of the deal because I had second thoughts on this particular model.
I got this TV bought for me after my previous Panasonic was accidentally broken when it first came out last year. I think it cost £450+. I spent a lot of time looking into my previous TV purchase and my partner thought this was a good replacement. Personally, I would not have spent that kind on money on this TV.

The 4k is crisp but I do have some issues with BBC iplayer on and off. And yes, it's Vestel rebadged. The remote went wonky and couldn't use Panasonic own apps to control it. Vestel apps however do work. Smart Centre app is a bit basic but does what I want it too. Theres also an eBay seller who does have a replacement remote that works perfectly for just over £10.

If it had to be bought again, I'd pay what greysquaill offered tesco, not sure if I'd pay much more though for a refurbished.
I keep saying I won't look to Panasonic or LG anymore due to the whole Vestel shenanigans. Granted, this is a geocentric deal for a telly, but what's to say some site sells a Vestel at the same price as a genuine set?!?
Getting really fed up of re-badgers.
LG don't use Vestel do they?

Pretty sure they do not. LG are one of the biggest panel manufacturers and I don't see any way it would make sense for them to follow Toshiba and Panasonic down the Vestel rebadge route. In fact, LG and Samsung are probably the two brands most likely to be making their own stuff.

Did you mean Toshiba? As already mentioned, LG make all their own panels.

Much appreciated... I wish there was a way to tell before ordering, but at least it can be sent back if it doesn't hit the spot!
Does the 3D work?
