You have the best job
We looked at this in currys and were told by the staff not to buy it as the processor in it is far too slow and will cause drag on some images, apparently a look of manufacturers have put out these 4K televisions with slow processors in so they can say that they have one on the market for £400 ish, hope this helps someone.

X) comedy gold - goes into currys and the staff say don't buy it - it's poo' or words to that affect'

That has to be quite possibly the funniest unbelievable comment I have ever heard

Oh dear
Heat added
Can't be doing with that style of stand, makes it impossible to hide the mass of cables. And there should be a mass of cables.

Don't take showroom peeps words for anything. They'd do anything, say anything, to upsell you.
Stay away most Panasonics are made by JVC now and are pants... Gone from the best to one of the worst in a few years ....

Sir I INSIST you choose this one which is far better value per pixel per inter dimensional zelta. The cross guard HDMI and digi Ethernet are the way forward and it even picks up Channel 5 in remote areas!

got one of these about 3 months ago for about the same price, fantastic picture, very pleased.

Only criticism is that when it is on 3D the processed/coolers fans whine a bit when as they are put thought their paces.
Seeing as I am not bothered about 3D {which is pants anyway IMHO} have some heat

Apart from that great heat

Yep Cu**ys staff are pure comedy gold - I remember trying to argue with a Customer Service associate of theirs during the last Christmas break who kept saying that the display panel/tech in LCD TV's is entirely different to that in LED's. He had never heard of backlighting, fluorescent or otherwise; gave up and went to have a look at the fridges in the end.
Gotta be a turkey at this price.
Just a word of warning. I have a Panasonic TV, and the smart features suck. Very buggy. Even basic things like scrolling channels is jumpy. Been 2 years now and no fixes. Would never buy a Panasonic again.

No a TV. It would be pretty expensive paying £400 on a turkey.

Ha ha .....I went into Mcdonalds for a BIg Mac, the manager told me not to eat it, said that the guys in the kitchen were just putting them out so they could say it was a burger.
I wouldn't recommend this TV. Very dull picture, not made by panasonic so there has been problem with sky remotes and this TV as no one knows the code for the sky remote. I work in currys trust me.
I wouldn't buy ANY tv right now. We're in a several year lull between plasmas and affordable OLED. Hoping my lovely Panny plasma lasts until LG get the price of their OLEDs down.

I also work in currys and the return rate for this model and the cx400 is really high. Although the Panasonic rep suggested a firmware update would fix most of the issues. That said it's made by the same company that makes jvc and you can even use the jvc remote to operate.
HEAT!

Cracking TV, just do the firmware factory reset, eg: do not just do an update, do a factory
restore and then usb update from hard file on usb and all the "issues" [which most have!]
will be resolved ;-)

I see you uploaded the video on YouTube, you did get a low end model so unfair to say avoid the CX series.

Vestel TX-48CX350B. Don't bother.

Lots of reported problems with these. Read about a possible recall to sort the firmware out. Still would avoid.

X)
I decided to delete my comment... but seriously AVME if that was you in the video, you should set up a TV properly before testing it and then deciding it's a dud. There's no way that was a fair review really as you went with the default settings, unless you altered a lot off-camera. What were you using for your TV source? and how fast is your internet speed?
Even at the low end of the CX series, there were probably loads of settings you could've altered to get a better picture, and the buzzing might have been caused by interference.. on my old TV I got interference from my mobile phone, would hear a buzzing and chirping sound when I got a call. Not saying you're in the wrong, just saying it wasn't a fair review to be honest as you didn't seem to be trying to do anything with the TV except find negatives.
We looked at this in Currys and their staff said it was a load of over-priced old rubbish like all their TVs and not to buy one.
Currys told me to buy a Sony !!!
Vestasonic TV and Curry's...what could possibly go wrong.

The £60 HDMI cable that will make this crap TV somehow turn into a useable one.

Not sure what's worse here, the retailer or the fake Panasonic TV. Not good imo.
Curry's told me there's nothing worth watching on TV anyway.

No only Susanna reids panties
I was going into Curry's to ask about this TV and they stopped me at the door and said don't shop here we are rubbish, go somewhere else.
They stopped my car in the carpark and said go to richer sounds
currys customer service is shocking so lets hope nothing goes wrong with it
I love a curry. Vestel Bhuna, with pilau rice, superb.

Hi 008,

Do you have any more detailed instructions on this or know where I could get them? I have this TV and would be interested!

By the way, at £429, this is a pretty good deal. We bought one in Black Friday for a spare room (i.e. it isn't intended to be our main TV) and it has exceeded our expectations in picture quality and performance. We knew it wasn't a true Panasonic and always treated the purchase that way, but we've been really impressed. The Smart TV features aren't completely smooth and user-friendly, but if you really want Smart TV then I would suggest plugging in an Android TV box, Nexus or Shield TV player. That's what I plan to do in the long run!
