Many people still don't watch that much content in Full HD so I doubt they'll be worried about 4K etc.

Yeah you put the code in the voucher box!

So, happy to pay about 400 for a 49 or 50" TV. This a cracking, deal, but is it worth seeing what black Friday brings?

Ps, can get 8% off argos gift e vouchers so even cheaper.

But it's cheap for what you're getting and unless you need 4K you might as well save £100 to £200 for something else. I tend to pay more for future proofing then find I never use the features or when I do, it's become obsolete because something better has arrived.

When 4K becomes completely mainstream (if ever) then worry about it if you don't want/need it now.

Is it '00' or 'B' that indicates if its a Vestel?

Its still a decent price if its a V

IF not, it's a GREAT price!!!

Argh! Why did I not know this when I spent £2k! Our company does! Thanks

Can you use the TV10 code in store? Thanks

Ordered thanks Op 4K is nothing to worry about just yet

Is this a vestel

I'm waiting till black Friday. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm hoping that I get a better deal than this.

Anybody got this tv and want to comment on teh picture quality - not many reviews out there on the 49in version - The Which review doesnt rate it much saying the onscreen motion isnt great and rather stop start which doesnt read well.
Any thoughts from anyone.

This looks great, thanks OP. Can anyone who owns this TV please let me know how the set handles SD content? I have heard good things regarding how it handles HD content, but if anyone could let me know how it upscales SD content and how that looks that would be brilliant thank you.

No 4k . This is old junk . £341 down the drain. 4k can play 1080 p better due to high sampling rate and bandwidth but not other way around . There is lots of old rubbish like this up for grabs in all electrical warehouse s and Street shops from 5 years back .

Not sure about usb stick unless you have a large usb stick

Digital features:

  • Features USB recording and video playback.
  • Freeview Play digital tuner.
  • CI plus slot.

My LG used to be able to rewind live TV as it was recording it temporary on the hdd

Still going strong . But when it dies (hopefully soon!!!) . I will be purchasing something like this . As buying a 4K tv meaning future proofing is not really an option for me as I won’t be using Sky’s or Virgins 4K box’s , Oh how many channels transmit in 4K ? An so on and so on . I will purchase a 4K TV when they drop to £350!

Depends what you use TVs for I suppose, but I use mine to watch 4K films, Netflix in 4K, gaming in 4K, YouTube videos in 4K etc etc.. I rarely watch regular TV, so for me a 4K purchase is more worthwhile
