Spotted this on PC World's website. It is also available at Currys. Comes with a 5 year Panasonic warranty. Have just price matched with John Lewis who are selling for £200 more.
The one downside on this TV is that it comes with NO 3D glasses, which considering the price is pretty crap!

Not bad price. I just ordered the Panasonic Viera 58AX802B LED 4K Ultra HD 3D Smart TV for £899 off eBay

O2 priority currently has save £100 off a £1000 spend for curry's and pcworld, so add another cheap item and get £100 off

That's a cracking deal but I guess there's only a year or two manufacturers warranty if bought from Ebay! But still a brilliant price.

is the john Lewis 5 year guarantee the same as the 5 year warranty on this ? any advantage of buying from JL ?

I guess not - from their website support is listed as :

AVCHD 3D/Progressive, SD-VIDEO/AVI/MKV/WMV/MP4/M4v/FLV/3GPP/VRO/VOB/TS/PS, MP3/AAC/WMA Pro/FLAC/Apple Lossless/WAV, JPEG/MPO

So pretty much a waste of money ?

Old hat. I was talking about the other panasonic 4K models

You cannot get a price match + O2 priority moments discount. It's one or the other.

just don't by from pc world!
the company and everyone in it are dumb as anything.
Just shop elsewhere

Bought this from my local Currys yesterday, with a cheap printer paper for £1001 total. Used O2 Priority (cheers parabootz), so got £100 off a £1000 spend. Went through TCB for 1% cashback for 'click and collect'. Total cost £889.

you are better buying the lg at £1099 comes with 5 year guarantee and £100 pounds off using o2 priority it plays all formats of your films on usb.

This doesn't support Netflix 4k

Bought today using Quidco and O2. Brilliant thank you!!

Can you use O2 online

No idea how someone can be selling the 802ax for that price £1000 cheaper than anywhere

Nice set and good value for money. The lg 4k is a mess when showing moving 4k footage. And whoever said they are buying the 2015 4k oled as they returned the pana 58ax802....you know the current full hd lg oled runs at £2000 if your lucky to £2500. The 4k oled is going to rip you a new poop hole and you could probably buy 2 ax902 for the price of one oled 4k.

You can get the O2 code online, after logging into your priority account. Currys will only accept the code instore though!

Can someone please link me to some 3d glasses to go with this tv? Thanks.

Pretty much ALL Panasonic active glasses starting TY will work with this TV. You just got to decide if you want the more expensive rechargeable ones or replace battery. Battery's claim to last about 200hrs but are cheap anyway.

I have been researching it myself, and found these on John Lewis. Sorry for advertising my own post, but the link is below:

I would always try your local Panasonic store. They price matched JL & a few other places last time I bought my TV & the Panasonic 5 year warranty is better than the JL 5 yr warranty.

The seller was scammed by a supplier so didn't get it in the end. Still looking.

It's 6 year warranty now at the local Panasonic store.

I just saw this in currys as I was über keen to see the fuss. I was impressed by the static picture but it was shocking for anything moving. Anyone experienced this? The picture also looked like when you play a blu ray at 1.5x speed. Is 4k technology too embryonic or is the "cheaper" kit just rubbish?

Interested to hear if anyone else has had strafing issues and motion blur on these tvs?

Meant to also say- it WAS hooked up to a standalone up scaling blu ray player- and not through their store feed

Thank You

Only the AX802 models and above are worth looking at.

I wouldn't like to imagine the cost of a repair for a TV of this size....

Thats one of the main things I use it for does that include mkv and how can I tell if other tvs do the same such as the sony bravia 55inch 4k
