Great TV I got one last weekend. Was willing to pay this price at richer sounds but then found a shop on line selling an ex display for £700. Out of the box colours are good but will muck around more this weekend

We purchased this TV last week and it's now dropped from £1299 to now £1099, I don't think this price will last long. I also went with the TV settings below for picture quality

youtu.be/XoY…zI0

cheers saxo I will have a look at that later.

how are you finding the settings?

I've just left the settings the way they are when I referred to the video

I'm inclined to reset them back to default and try testing myself, how about you?

I have had the TV on shop mode and find it a lot brighter and clearer but maybe a bit too clear if that makes sense. My main source is sky HD and it does a great job with HD material

Try this James, taken from AV

If you want to see some BRIGHT content on your DX902's. Press MENU, press and hold the GREEN button on the controller for about 5-secs - the option to then change the location (shop or home) comes up. Change to SHOP (this will change the TV to Dynamic Mode (urgh) but you can change the viewing modes back to whatever you use) Then go to settings in the menu, you'll now see "shop settings" at the top of the settings menu. Under picture reset, turn to OFF and under demo settings, turn everything off with the exception of "Video Playback" - press the RED button to start the demo. It looks like it defaults to dynamic here too (and if you press menu to change the viewing mode, it stops the demo

Picture is unbelievable !!!

I have tried what you sent and it's great. thanks

Do not use shop mode ..

go always from 50% contrast and brightness and then alter from them there.

Taras?

Why not show Shop mode to see how it performs then return back to normal?

shop mode is designed for the harsh environment of the stores, saturated colours too.. and this > http://eng.faq.panasonic.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/21072/~/a-message-now-in-picture-refresh-mode.-going-to-reset-setting.-is-displayed

so basically don't use it - its a demo mode

Also I am not sure if it has been mentioned anywhere but Panasonic are giving a free 5 year guarantee if you register your TV. I think it's from all purchases during

Purchase Period: 01/04/2016 - 31/03/2017

256 days left to claimClaim by 30/04/2017

I don't feel so bad for buying an ex demo now

taras have you got this TV and if so what settings do you use?
