Seems like a great price for a 4k TV of this size even if it is refurbished. The main draw back is that it isn't Netflix 4K compatible but other than that it receives pretty good reviews.

Edit - a firmware update means that this TV is now compatible with Netfilx 4k streaming.

There is no platform for 4k yet so pretty useless plus it's Panasonic!

Panasonic have been at the forefront of tv technology for over 10 years now, they made the best plasmas, soon they will probably make the best LCD's. Read the reviews on this, it now offers 4k netflix, this TV is a bargain.

Panasonic Plasma TV's were and still are regarding as some of the best ever TV's made. The AX802 and AX902 get excellent reviews, with a lot stating these are the best LCD (non-OLED) TV's in their price range.

I have a 50" AX802 and the picture is fantastic, be 1080p or 4k via Netflix/Amazon.

arent all 802's netflix compatible with an update?

If it's not LED I'm not interested.
Samsung/Lg for me. And like I said there's no platform for 4k TV yet. So save your money!

You're right - Panasonic have provided this information regarding the firmware update.

There are no channels in 4k but you can view in UHD.

Maybe Christmas this year you may see 1 channel in 4k. But it's so expensive it may not take off.

I have the 58" version but have found a feint white line across the picture so Panasonic are going to investigate. For the record the TV came in original but rather bashed box, with new glasses, though my old Samsung ones seem to work, and no sign of use though screen had no protective covering on it. I could not justify the extra over the 58" for the 65 but now it looks quite small in the lounge so maybe I should have. Yet to really try any 4k stuff though. Delivery was very quick (2 days) but the courier just turned up at about 7pm without contacting us first so lucky we were in.

I've seen some great reviews for this TV and I'm really tempted. Note, however, this is a very heavy TV at 59kg (still a hefty 41kg without the stand), and the stand is fixed (so aesthetically may not look great on a table that's narrower than the TV). 1-year warranty only puts me off given the considerable investment, the fact this is already "refurbished" and it's Panasonic's early stab at 4K LED.

Sky is likely to launch some channels this summer.
