Agreed, they only had about 70 in their warehouse last week. Suspect this is the last chance at this price!

I would do but I want a 46 inch, as I have a 40 at the moment, I should have got that Sony 46 inxch deal the other dasy

Just ordered NOW as not able to pick up in local store. Don't hesitate!

Sizzling!!!! No one else can beat this when you take the JL guarantee into consideration .

Wouldn't it be better to wait till after christmas. For the sales

Long time lurker but have literally just registered in order to make my first post! Big thanks to the OP, I've been waiting for the right deal on this TV for months now.

Cracking deal.

and the VAT increase?

thanks, ordered

I was having an email debate about matching comet, now they have anyway!

cheers

Bought a Panasonic plasma TV over 7 years ago
(needed a mortgage to buy one then) and it's still going strong, despite me throwing cups of tea over it and constantly hitting it with a hammer
(because it cost so much, my wife refuses to buy another TV until this conks out!):(

Is this wall mountable?
Any suggestions for a bracket?
Any good 37 inch models about?

good luck getting your money back, you've got more chance of winning the lotto

Any idea what this comment was about? I don't.

Thank You OP, ordered jst in time

about the OP saying he was going to get the £100 more he paid for this back...

In the terms and conditions on JL's webpage it states...

If you’ve already purchased the product online, please make sure you report the price match within 28 days of receiving it. If you’d like to buy the product but want us to price match first, please check that you’re providing the most up to date information you can obtain when you submit your claim.

So the OP should have no problem getting the difference back...

I was waiting for this deal.. Alot of ppl told me get it from currys its cheaper then JL but i wanted 5yrs of peace of mind and finally got it cheaper than Currys

Check Ops comment "I'm posting this as a reference because I intend to get the £100 extra I paid there last week back!".... He [ops] probably bought the tv at £100 dearer from JL, I think.

Expired what a pisser

out of stock

Yep, just been on the hooter, it looks like I will get refund within 48hours. Have been arguing with them for week to match Comet price. So relieved they put their own price down, and will still match any further reductions up to 14th Dec.

The TV picture is superb and blows my old TX32PD30 (a top-range CRT) out of the water. I particularly love the PVR and pause TV functions, although they do have limitations e.g. lack of series-link.

ok - got the TV...

Now for a stand/corner unit. Any suggestions?

I bought one for my old Samsung to go on the wall in the boy's room from a firm called product-hub on everyone's favourite auction site. You should get a tilt bracket for about £20 for this size of TV.

I suppose it depends on how good the PVR function is on the TV. Might need to keep the old Humax PVR. In which case I'll need to get a corner unit.

Anyone had experience of the PVR on the TV?

Yup sorry I didn't think I'd need to quote that bit, out of context it does look a bit confusing. Had a few bad experiences with JL lately and thats made worse by the fact me and my dad both worked there!

I assume this is the same tv I got from comet with a blu-ray player and sony electronic photo frame for 639 - the 5 yr guarantee is basically the same value as those bits and bobs though as comet flog their guarantee for about 120 quid for 5 yrs!

can i just add if this is the same tv make sure your not putting it in a room with large windows nearby, the reflection from the screen is a real killer - not that with winter here its much of an issue but during the summer the tv is unwatchable when the suns out

PVR function is limited, but good for pausing live tv or quick record. It can be set to automatically record what you are watching so can pause at anytime (just do not change channel or press guide!). It does tie up the tuner but you can watch recorded video whilst recording something else. Will not match your humax functions.

Its is £600 instore as well, out of stock in Glasgow

Does anyone know if this is available at this price instore?
