Damn - was just going to post this deal myself !!!!

Spent so long deciding whether to take the plunge and order or not missed posting a Hot deal..

Heat added.....

cold!

not the telly but the deal!

just two weeks ago this deal was at very for the same price, and with all the various discount codes came to about £632!

THAT WAS A DEAL TO BE HAD!!!

but for some reason some id*ots voted it cold and now prob the same id*ots are voting this hot!

Maybe a silly question, but does the 'B' at the end of the model number signify anything? Is it a different model from the TX-P46G10 as I've seen both these model numbers about.

The 'B' stands for the british model different spec to the U.S.

Don't forget the discount codes & quidco - ended up costing around £620, needless to say I had a very happy husband this christmas

this is an awesome price for this telly, I missed out last time Dixons had it at £749
normally retails at over £920!

HEAT ADDED!

Is this worth buying considering it was at £620? Im always put off a deal that goes up in price as soon as the company realise its worth more

there was a better deal last week which i got couldnt believe it panasonic 50" vierra hull hd ready plasma £499 then 20% off code = £399 the 9% quidco = £363.00 from very (littlewoods) - superb tv for the superb price

Is this TV good for console gaming?

Worried about image burn, although not sure if that's a problem with older Plasma TV's.

Is the deal still on?

Hey All,

Overall this is a very good TV, the only main drawback is deinterlacing is poor

Shame some people are so lucky when it comes to deals like this. When are the sellers going to learn we aren't gonna pay £999 for a tv that was once £404?

according to the link the tv is not full 1080p or free sat so probably why its cheaper than the one at dixons so not sure how you can say its a better deal ,its cheaper but lower spec ones usually are, both the dixons and the one richer sound offered a month or so ago went 2000 + on here so expect this to be super hot again as a lot of hukd members missed out on the dixons deal and richer sounds as usual had no stock,j lewis also refused to price match the 750 deal due to no stock at richer and dixons is online only

We bought this about 3 weeks ago from Electrocentre for the same price delivered and including a 5 year Panasonic guarantee. Can recommend the telly, great for the PS3 and cgi films!

This TV has pretty much everything I want including freesat; do you think this TV or TVs like this will be cheaper in the rest of the January sales because if this goes out of stock and turns out to be an amazing deal I will be gutted after missing the previous deals

what about the LG PS3000 50" full HD plasma showing at 689gbp?

its the million dollar question ,who knows ,you can go via quidco for another 20.oo odd quid off ,but i had to put a tracking enquiry in as it originally didnt show up in my quidco account .i had no other issues with the service from dixons ,it was delivered on a sat within a 2 hour slot, like i stated it went 2k +hot on here so must be good price ,vat increase soon so may affect the chances of it selling lower than 750,the last lot dixons had all sold out at 750,if you have a nationwide credit card they will also give you a extra year warranty for free

by the way, don't try and compare LCD refresh rates (e.g. the 120Hz ones or even sony's 200Hz models) and their motion interpolation with the 600Hz refresh rates of plasma TVs. it's too technical to explain here, sorry.

the g15 is better isn't it? Is there any further discounts for this website?

I think this deserves its own thread £760 for a neopdp tv is surely brilliant?

wow, plasma can consume up to 4 times more energy compared to a LCD of similar size... Is plasma a really good long-term alternative these days?... What are the main advantages of plasma : no ghosting? better view angles?

Can't recommend this TV highly enough - got it for my parents, and will be getting one for myself very soon despite previously being a fan of the rather expensive and shiny Samsung LED models.

mosso, this is a NeoPDP panel so barely uses any more power than an LCD.

No ghosting and better viewing angles are just a few of the benefits

I saw this deal and the only thing that is stopping me is the guarantee situation ... I'd prefer to buy one with a 5 year warranty.

yes its a good deal , i also have a lcd 32 lg 1080 and its a fine set,the panny is generally accepted as the second best plasma after pioneer, for 750 you cant go wrong ,it may go cheaper but who knows ,it was 1200 at trafford centre on xmas eve so would need big discount to get to this level.i expect dixons to sell out at this price again

yummy!

Wish there was a voucher to get a 10% more off. Need to really feel the bargain!

Is there any possibility to chose the delivery date at dixons? (not home before 10 days)

was gonna get this but used my comet 30% voucher on the Panasonic V10 series - so much better when I managed to compare the two models - if you love your football and movies the V10 is the better option (few hundred more expensive, but worth it personally - trouble is the V10 in both 42 and 50inch is so popular it regularly sells out) comet.co.uk/sho…ion

I'd love to know too

rick of course this is a good deal not denying that, it's a bargain! Comet are selling the same set for £1079 - depends on how much quality or value for money you want of course. i.e a samsung 50" is cheap now for around £600 I saw on the telly earlier, but the picture is poor.
