Hi All,

This is my first so go easy on me....

Its a panasonic viera txp46g20, there have been previous posts for the 42" for about £599 (this was after all the discounts)....The cheapest 46" txpg20 model I have seen are going for £900!

There are no cashbacks or discounts for this one just the tv with free deliver, I dont know much about the retailer(seems to have good reviews on the website....

I know the this particular model will be coming down in price as panasonic will be releasing new tvs earlier in 2011.

Hi homeoffice2020,
Can you snd a report (using link on right) saying who the merchant is and / or a link to the deal?
Thanks

Just did a search and can't find this price anywhere. Bargain if it is.

Any chance of a working link?

Not that brave. I'll give it a miss.

Hmmmmmm, brave indeed to try it. May give them a ring tomorrow to sus them out a little.

Hi,

Sorry for missing the link, thanks to maccy for posting link ....Ive not tried them and there doesnt seem to be a contact no....does being based in Liverpool make you feel worried....

Just found a number 0151 282 1818

How do I convince my wife that our old 32" CRT has broken down? Done a quick bit of research on this deal which I thought I'd share:
Couple of excellent reviews here:
techradar.com/rev…iew
expertreviews.co.uk/tvs…20b

Never heard of this company either. No phone no. offered on website, but I found numbers for 'Rapid Computers Ltd,' - 0151 737 2127, and for 'Rapid Technologies' - 0800 195 0938. Both these give the same address in Liverpool as Rapideshop. Google Products Seller Reviews has only 14 posts but is broadly ok at 4.4/5: google.co.uk/pro…TgA
On the website, before specifying a payment method, a credit card supplement of £10.69 + VAT is added (don't know if this is removed if debit card is used). Post suggested free delivery, but I wasn't able to see how to get this - cheapest option was 'next working day' at £9.95 + VAT. Assuming that the safer option of a credit card is used, this gives a grand total of £640.47. This is still an amazing price as the next cheapest price (inc. delivery) I could find was £830. Over a grand at Amazon btw. Heat added and thanks for the post

I found this a few days ago but have been wary of committing due to the unknown nature of the retailer... Seems to good a price to be true, and usually when that's the case... it is! Anyone know why this is being voted so cold?

Pull the aerial out of your CRT just before her favourite soap, then just sit there looking sad about having to buy a new TV - my wife never notices if I replace electrical equipment as long as I buy the same colour and not twice the size.

Looks like a great deal if it is for real, just shame nobody has heard of the retailer.

Too good to be true, surely.

Thanks for the suggestion, mcintg. Timing could indeed be the key. Will loosen the scart plug just before the next episode of House to unleash the most devastation...
Run ragged all day at work today so no chance to phone this company. Seems like a lot of cold votes being cast on the assumption that this is too good to be true. I think this is a shame as this deal will drop off the radar when it just might save people some serious cash. Did anyone get to speak to them?

Hi All,

Called up company today and spoke to a liverpudilian lady...the price is correct and they dont hold any of the goods in stock they order the items from a 3rd party and everything is all new....

Still abit reluctant to order...

Anyone willing to take a chance!

Not listed on the site any more so I wouldn't bother if I were you. If the price is a genuine one then other retailers will soon be getting them for the same price. They can't be the only ones that use the wholesaler who is making it possible to sell at this price.

New Panasonic plasmas will be announced at CES 6th Jan so chances are there will be widespread reductions on the current lines shortly after, maybe these guys just got wind of reductions before the official announcements.

i have placed on order for this tv last week. will let people know if i get it. paid with cc so will be covered against loss i hope.

Thanks for chasing up OP, looks like if there was a boat, then I missed it. Hope this one comes good for you anupsodha

Spoke to them this morning. They're out of stock apparently!
