Not sure if this is the cheapest price at the moment, but my dad picked this model up from M&S for £640 the other month...

I doubt very much if it was this model(G20 range)
This is an excellent price for this particular 50" panasonic tv.
Really confused at the cold votes.

Yeh, no way was this model ever £640. Might have been the S20, but this set has been in the 1200-1500 bracket since its release.

I don't know how this compares to the G10, but it does have some quite outstanding features. Has both Freeview HD and Freesat HD built in, internet access with built-in Skype, Youtube etc...
plus the usual Viera goodies. Plus 4 HDMI sockets (my old viera only had 3).
It's an awesome set though, I'm really happy with it.

looks damn good to me.

Good price. Voted hot.

Why buy this when you can get a LG 42" Plasma that almost does 720 p for £360 !!?? (_;)

p.s. looks a good deal to me, heat left

Ah....look at you with the jokes. X)

I'm confused as to why this is so cold? As far as I can see it's the cheapest price around for this model. If it's not the cheapest deal I'd really like to know where I can buy it cheaper please?
Heat added.

An excellent TV and a good price... I have the 42" G10.

Probably cold because to some 'Plasma' is considered old outdated technology but to the Geeks this is an amazing TV with awesome picture quality which surpases most LCD's and will compare well against most LED's.

All the cold voters are probably jealous they can't afford this TV and are still watching their 14inch black and white? I feel sorry for you but please take your fustrations elsewhere.

HOT!!!

IMHO, when you get to this size screen, you really really cannot beat a plasma.
LED's are all well and good, but the plasma technology is so tried and tested now that they're just better....give it a couple of years and I will probably buy an LED...when the technology's up to scratch.

You can connect this TV wireless to the Internet in order to use You Tube etc..! Plus 1 more HDMI socket and Satellite connection to the back allowing HD viewing straight from you dish coax.! Cracking TV in all fairness.!

Prob because Costco have it cheaper with a five year Costco Guarantee..! Got to be a member tho which costs so I personally think it is a good deal.! Sound and Vision are worth checking on price before paying Dixons but just over a grand seems reasonable..!

Hot price .. heat from me, cheapest out there ... don't forget 3% quidco ontop of that

Good, this deal is getting some deserved heat. ;-)

BTW, here's a good deal on the 42" if interested:
