It's my first post. Bit puzzled by the cold votes, can anyone find this TV with five year guarantee cheaper?

Don't worry about it. People see £950 for a TV and decide that that is too much when they can get the bottom of the range one for £600. Richer sounds charge £50 for a 5 year guarantee and I would much rather deal with John Lewis than them if something went wrong. It is an expensive TV but I would get this over a middle-low range 3D one any day.

I cant find it any cheaper with 5 year warranty, I was going to buy the 46" for £999 may get this more for less.

my son in law and I got a toshiba for £950 each 4 yrs ago...his went faulty and J Lewis replaced it immediately, he actually upgraded it as it was 2yrs old for a few quid for a more up to date model, mine is still going strong so J lewis been good for us..

Hoping this drops as quick as the 42"G20.

Been watching the price of this TV for a while.

It is cheaper elsewhere but not by much and not with a 5 year guarantee.

Just placed an order

Been waiting for this to drop in price. Hot

£938 at currys with code, but no 5 year so hot.

Hot from me, cracking price for a cracking telly imho (according to avforums too).
